- Nebraska Football coach Matt Rhule has an absolute rising star at quarterback in 5-star true freshman Dylan Raiola. We were cautious about starting true freshman at Power 4 schools. Then we saw Raiola perform in the annual Nebraska Spring Football game in Lincoln this weekend. He is the real deal! I think competition is the secret sauce to greatness. Having Raiola in house already has elevated Haarberg. I think Raiola is the obvious guy, but let the work and performances play out.

Oregon looks like they are really deep on both sides of the ball. Plenty of talent to compete in the Big 10
Raiola looked better than advertised. However, the Cornhuskers are still a 5-7 team and that falls on the coaches. Luckily for Nebraska they got Raiola and a real qb coach, so that should hopefully make up for poor play calling by the OC.
I wish the best for Brian Ferentz. I just hope that he doesn't adversely affect Maryland's offense.

Nebraska is the only D1 team to not make a 6 win bowl game since 2016. It is coming up on a decade without even winning 6 games. Even Kansas goes to bowl games. Just a horrific program. I will give them this. I think they will make the Pop Tart Bowl by 2029.

Nebraska is going to surprise some people this year. DR and that offense looked good. Their defense returns 80%, and they were the #11 ranked defense in the country last year. 8-10 wins for NU in 2024.
Looking at the schedule, they could start out 6-0. They might end up 7-5 though.
