I've never seen a husker coach get so many interviews in my lifetime. Its a testament of who coach Rhule is and what he's doing for Nebraska. I couldn't be prouder he's our coach
So confident in saying that Nebraska is on it's way . Maybe not the glory days of dominant football under Osborne and Delaney but being in contention year in and year out for conference championships and if things fall in place once in while maybe with any luck a national championship. Why not us ?
watching and listening to Matt Rhule is an absolute view into what College Football used to be all about..............he constantly and consistently reminds us that it about these young men and their journey into adulthood and life. He's a treat
Just wait until Dylan Raiola's parents come around to read Coach Rhule the riot act because their precious, pandered to son is not the starting QB in his freshman year.
@@dardenbunn1415okay, tell me. Who will be their starting QB? It's all but a sure thing. Dany would have had to make a big jump verry verry quickly to be the startegr But you do sound like a salty Georgia fan
Imagine if Bob Devaney had been interviewed like this back in the early '60's when he took over Nebraska. I suspect it would be quite similar to Coach Rhule's interview now. Devaney saturated himself in all things Nebraska. I lived in a western Nebraska town of less then a thousand souls and Devaney came to our town and had dinner at our largest venue, the city auditorium, and presented an evening of football with film on the Huskers.
Clear why Matt Rhule gets so much respect around CFB. One of the best to not only build a team, but young men. Sets the example. Never puts the focus on himself, only those around him. If you haven't seen what he has done lately, go look at Nebraska Athletics, not just football. ☠️☠️☠️☠️
I really think this is the guy that can get Nebraska back to an elite level, what he did at Baylor was very impressive. Took over a horrible team and situation and 3rd year had them in the big 12 championship. I loved watching Nebraska football when I was younger back during the late mid to late 90's their physicality and the option offense was so far ahead of everyone else at the time. Not even a Nebraska fan per se just think college football is better as a whole when certain programs like them are competitive.
You know how long it's been since we've had media coverage like this? There's something brewing in Lincoln. I don't know what it is I don't know when it's going to happen All I know is that Matt rhule is doing all the right things and it's the way it needs to be.
this comment section really proves the dead internet theory. That being said Matt Rhule is a pretty good coach hoping for 8-9 wins with our cakewalk schedule
Rhule hired the entire D staff without White's input. White's a good coach, and I bet will get a head job next year, but Rhule will find a replacement that will do exactly what he wants.
As a Husker born and bread, its interesting to me that ESPN has become what it is. I grew up with great hosts from ESPN. I also find it interesting the choice of camera angles (either they know how cameras work or they do not). Then after a great interview with coach Rule they pivot to Saban "joining" ESPN. The thirst is more obvious than I have ever seen. I feel very confident ESPN has lost a big step in what they are. Had not coach Rule not been on this "episode" there is zero chance I would have ever seen it. I do not want ESPN to fail, but no other network now deserves to have that happen. It feels like they still think this is the 90s where they are the only player in the game. Just 2 hours in of this video being released there is a hard fought 85 likes with a total of 4 comments. ESPN used to be the go to for sports information. Some half wit that is very disconnected hosting with another very half wit hoping to capture something that never existed. A coach now representing Nebraska has more charisma and actual incite, just astonishing. Just wow, this man said people are struggling with phones, no deflection there in any way. Perhaps do not comment on things you don't understand from a network that USED to be respected. These two are the boomers we all fear. Also, do not attempt to tell me where to get this "Podcast" FFS, its time for ESPN to catch up.
Rece, how could you put Iowa in your AP Final Top 25 and leave Tennessee out? Serious question. Did you not see the Citrus Bowl? Do you not consider head to head matchups? Just curious what your criteria is?
its a consolidation of power. Recruiting is all over the place, money is at the forefront, and those with the best staffs, NIL, and facilities will win the day. At least until the rest of the league catches up and there's more parity
I'm not in on that one. A lot of husker fans seem to like him, plus they hung on to frost for 4 years and he was a terrible HC. Husker football never improved under frost.

I’m a simple man. I see “Matt rhule interview” in the video title I watch the video
Any team would be lucky to have Coach Rhule, so glad we were able to get him. GBR!
If he wins.
It’s wild every coach you have on by the end of the interview I end up loving them.

His very first press conference after he was introduced as coach,he said I believe you win games in the trenches. Loved him from that moment on.

Love seeing Matt Rhule branch outside the Nebraska media bubble
Looking forward to the foundation that Coach Rhule and his coaching staff have started and how they're going to build it! Go Big Red 🔴⚪️

It hurts my heart even Matt Rhule knows we can’t keep Tony White for long
stop being a sourpuss

If Nebraska goes 8-4, wins a bowl game, and is on the cusp of going to Natl title ops, you think White would bolt?? Nah, me either
@@andrewcramer9200yeah, Rhule has said the defense will always be a very particular focus. I’m not worried.

Will he embrace NIL and the portal?
He’s at the very front in both.
Matt Rhule college record before Nebraska 52-50 as head coach with Baylor and Temple
Eliminate year 1 at both. A record of 49-29, iirc. Ended with 10, 10 and 11 win seasons, or 31-11 in his last 3 seasons combined at both (.738).
Does Rece have frosted tips...he should embrace the future like his hairstylist has...
What is the see if he still there? It’ll probably be two years and they’ll get rid of him go big red.
maybe Nebraska won’t choke against Colorado this year, who knows
I think they were beat
Naw we won't. See you in 204 days
Hard to say, but it is safe to say they will do better than last year.
