..and Mike Patton continues his vast and largely unappreciated legacy. FNM, Tomahawk, peeping Tom, Mr Bungle, Lovage, Fantomas....etc. He's a living legend
+christos vg I had been waiting for both lol.. still waiting for Tool! Did see FnM in August in MD, and just saw Tool in Charlotte two days ago. Both were awesome shows.
William Robbins i haven't seen Tool since 2008 and FnM since 2010. you can understand that i am a little jealous xaxa..but I totally agree with you, very nice shows by both bands, hope to see them again:)
Tool's album might drop in 2032, and will most certainly be the last. As a huge fan I can accept a 5 year wait for the level of mastery they are known to put out. 12+ years and nothing but excuses, I do not plan to purchase their next album. I was starting senior year when 10,000 days dropped. I have since went to college, got a job, saved some money, started a business, started a family, have had 4 vehicles, 2 houses and am now starting to go bald. Fuck you Tool, your not that busy.
+Gilbert McGillicutty As someone who is creative my self, kiss off. No band has any obligation to make you music. You do what you chose to do, and so do tool. Would you like it if Maynard picked you up one day and said hey, your gonna clean my garage. It's been ten years, you owe me a garage cleaning. Not quite right now is it?
William Robbins Did it take Pablo Picasso over ten years to paint The Old Guitarist, or ten years for DeVinci to do Mona Lisa, did the Beetles take ten years to write the White album? My point is even with the level of excellence Tool is striving for, a ten year wait is only going to weigh down on their work. People are now expecting it to be the best album of their careers because of the time we have waited and i am willing to bet it wont be their best work. Like i said, i am fine with waiting for half a decade to ensure the best work can be done rather than putting out a shitload of mediocre albums, but over 11 years just says to a diehard fan that, well, the band just really doesn't give a shit about their fans. They are all making wine, working in other gigs, blaming lawsuits, running coffeeshops. They only go on tour because they know that is where the money is made, not making and selling new music. Tool doesn't give a shit about their fans wants or needs, that is why i wont support them unless the next album is god's gift to art.
I have been listened FNM since 93. And now, my 9 years old son also started to like. He is getting keybord classes and sometimes he play FNM to me. Amazing ❤.
This just soothed the Fantomas centers in my narrative cortex. The band that got me through high school emerges unconquered! May the sun shine brightly forever on Ipecac Recordings.
The rhythm that Mr. Patton adds to what's already in the song puts it on another level. I have to add that I was reminded of a track from the first Fantomas--"Director's Cut" and I thought, hell, I want to hear Lombardo play this!! (Mr. Puff was brilliant as always.)
Oh, separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety Oh, separation anxiety Hey, you know it's mine Had love come back Like it was before House creaking The hinges on the door Thoughts creeping Oh, separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety Hey, you know it's mine Separation anxiety Hey, you know it's mine It's like when your mind Has a mind of its own Please take mine Don't leave me alone Capture me Separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety Hey, you know it's mine I can't let you go 'Cause you're a part of me Not apart from me Here’s a little sip for me Well, it's good enough for me I cannot separate from this anxiety Come home and make our truce Violence is what we learned Listen in reverence Why it can not pass If you only make us Then violence is what we learn How can I separate From this anxiety? Separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety, hey Oh, separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety, hey Oh, separation anxiety Hey, separation anxiety, hey, hey Separation anxiety, hey Separation anxiety, hey, hey Closing my eyes Separation anxiety, hey Separation anxiety, hey, hey Closing my eyes Separation anxiety, hey Separation anxiety, hey Closing my eyes Separation anxiety, hey Separation anxiety, hey, hey Closing my eyes Separation anxiety, hey Separation anxiety, hey, hey, hey
And screw the surface answer that Mike only finds lyrics for SOUND , I'm a firm believer there is undiscovered Lava in that lyrical content, and if i'm wrong.........and I'm never wrong ;)
My second in my top three favorite songs from the album (Sunny Side Up and Cone Of Shame being the other two although I adore the entire album). Everybody is on point in this track. Throw on some headphones and REALLY listen, it's fucking insane we got this much effort and talent after all this time. But it's FNM/Patton so not surprised. Great video as well!
Another badass PWN. Nice Demon. I do smell just a smidgen of Fantomas here, but still that wonderful aroma of Mike that I've always loved and craved so much.
+Marco Estiercol I doubt they would, but I wished they'd have a 'fan made' video contest where we could use either public domain or original footage. Would love to see what the fans could come up with and of course, throw in my own submission. .
Faith No More music has a soul. Their songs are almost alive. It's quite shivering. The mark of the greats.
my fav band in history.... even the members are likeable... they can do no wrong
What's up
Their music is indeed a living thing
..and Mike Patton continues his vast and largely unappreciated legacy. FNM, Tomahawk, peeping Tom, Mr Bungle, Lovage, Fantomas....etc.
He's a living legend
Es un demonio!!!!
Jack Luminous i dont think hes really underappreciated. He is highly revered in amongst musicians across all styles of music
True that, Christ
Yas
Jack Luminous He's well-known, and well-reveared, but I still find people that don't know who he is, or what he's done! Gotta keep up the good fight!
The bassline that possesses souls.
Greatest band in history. They’ve never played a bad note. Please tour again and bring Big Jim back into the fold.
Ah yes, my dog's anthem whenever I leave for work.
sol invictus is a fantastic album, i'm waiting more for a new faith no more album than the next tool's one, hahah
+christos vg I had been waiting for both lol.. still waiting for Tool! Did see FnM in August in MD, and just saw Tool in Charlotte two days ago. Both were awesome shows.

That's great. Also great that he's learning Roddy's parts. Most of his stuff is quite simple so great for a beginner. Your boy has great taste. 😊
Awesome video. The footage is from a 1955 film noir terror movie called "Dementia: Daughter of Horror"... awesome work.
Thnks.
I love it.
How come I think FNM is the greatest band ever but never seen this video till today!
Patton is a fucking legend.
Fuck genres. Use what you have learned
I'm completely addicted to this album and especially to this song
one of the best faith no more songs , period.
I loved the video. One of my favorite from Sol Invictus. FNM is back!
One of the greatest bands of all time. Love em
faith no more kicks so much ass and to think they have been around before i was born!
B.G just rocks it. So relentless. Love it.
My favorite song of the album. Thank you.
The best band ever!! Please go on tour..
Keep coming back to this
And the live BBC session
How come LIVE BBC SESSION sounds better than the studio album?
@@andrade2129 May be higher end equipment if I had to guess
Great song, another masterpiece from a vast collection of brilliant tracks.
I love Faith No More soo hard.
Would Like Some New F.N.M. Music But I'm Happy We Got This.
This just soothed the Fantomas centers in my narrative cortex. The band that got me through high school emerges unconquered! May the sun shine brightly forever on Ipecac Recordings.
:)
I think this is their best music video yet. I smell a little bit Fantomas. And it also reminds me to Ghost' Cirice music video.
+agun wiriadisasra Yeah, it reminds me of Fantomas too.
I agree... And i'm not impressed...
+agun wiriadisasra Don't you smell a lot of Tomahawk as well?
Yes +HerrKielbasa, and to be honest I miss Faith No More and using keyboard as central instrument. The Angel Dust era.
GHOST!!!! been addicted to them this entire week.
pretty much a soothing lullaby for my soul
faith no more-pure music
So, is this the greatest music that has ever been created?
Possible😌
The rhythm that Mr. Patton adds to what's already in the song puts it on another level. I have to add that I was reminded of a track from the first Fantomas--"Director's Cut" and I thought, hell, I want to hear Lombardo play this!! (Mr. Puff was brilliant as always.)
One of my favorite song from album!!! Nice video :)
This is the real thing Faith No More! Just like the old times. Amazing!!
My fav band for all time. Patton is GOD.

+Kristen D. there's a riot at the salad bar
" i have so much to show you. So much that you are afraid to see..."
I keep coming back to listen to this.
This is unbelievable!
I love how this song starts
Oh, separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety
Oh, separation anxiety
Hey, you know it's mine
Had love come back
Like it was before
House creaking
The hinges on the door
Thoughts creeping
Oh, separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety
Hey, you know it's mine
Separation anxiety
Hey, you know it's mine
It's like when your mind
Has a mind of its own
Please take mine
Don't leave me alone
Capture me
Separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety
Hey, you know it's mine
I can't let you go
'Cause you're a part of me
Not apart from me
Here’s a little sip for me
Well, it's good enough for me
I cannot separate from this anxiety
Come home and make our truce
Violence is what we learned
Listen in reverence
Why it can not pass
If you only make us
Then violence is what we learn
How can I separate
From this anxiety?
Separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety, hey
Oh, separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety, hey
Oh, separation anxiety
Hey, separation anxiety, hey, hey
Separation anxiety, hey
Separation anxiety, hey, hey
Closing my eyes
Separation anxiety, hey
Separation anxiety, hey, hey
Closing my eyes
Separation anxiety, hey
Separation anxiety, hey
Closing my eyes
Separation anxiety, hey
Separation anxiety, hey, hey
Closing my eyes
Separation anxiety, hey
Separation anxiety, hey, hey, hey
nope
I haven't been back here ina little while n the arrangements alone make this music sooo important for generations ahead!!...

Hey Cynthia, I think this is by/ edited by the producer of Sunnyside Up!! Umm Mr Lynch? Can't remember first name whoops ;)

Joe Lynch :D
+Cynthia Jones Nope its another Lynch it seems! They love their Lynches at FNM!
+Joe Lynch and Cynthia Jones.... Yeah I said what he said.... Lol Anyway, We Love your work Joe 💙👽
Sounds like a mixture between Angel Dust era FNM, Jane's Addiction and Deftones. So it's freaking awesome!

Fantomas is my favorite Patton side project, this is very Fantomas-esque.
Great video.

"Your mind, has a mind of it's own. Please, take mine. Don't leave me all alone."
Kristen D. Yeah to pull off a track like this after all that time... incredible imo.
great song and great video!!! bravo
wow...they still fucking have it
Sweet video. This sounds like it could have been released in the 90s. Classic. Well done.
why does this mix sound so much better than the actual album???
I agree, it does. The production on the album isn't very good
yeah was not keen on the production on that album. interesting...i wonder how this came to be better than album version?
It was mastered correctly here
To me both sound exactly the same.
They did it all themselves in a rehearsal studio.
Awesome song, and awesome video.
This video is AWESOME!!! I LOVE YOU FOREVER FAITH NO MORE!!!
Master piece!
This is prob like the greatest album they've done honestly.......
what? better than angle dust? or king for a day? or the real thing? what ears do you have mate?
Not a chance. Angel Dust.

Awesome! "Sol Invictus" Is my album #2 of the year! Right next to "Meliora" by Ghost!
NO one steps on hats quite like Puff
NO ONE!!!

Another badass PWN. Nice Demon. I do smell just a smidgen of Fantomas here, but still that wonderful aroma of Mike that I've always loved and craved so much.

I already have the video for From the Dead in my head.
+Marco Estiercol I doubt they would, but I wished they'd have a 'fan made' video contest where we could use either public domain or original footage. Would love to see what the fans could come up with and of course, throw in my own submission. .
