You need to check the rocker panels under the doors, number 1 first thing, get under the truck and inspect. 12th Gen F150s are notorious for rusting in the rocker area. And its not noticeable until its bad, unless you are looking for it. I've never seen a raptor that bottomed down to body stops. Ask how long its been since the Fox Shox have been rebuilt(Fox recommends rebuilds at 50K miles in heavy off road use, you can get 100k out of them with pure street driving)the Fox rebuild is approx $500 per axle plus shipping them to Fox, and make sure it goes into all 4 wheel modes (4L or 4H) during test drive. If you wanna see if the truck has been jumped too much check the skid plates in front, these trucks land front first in 99% of jumps, thats where your jumping damage will mostly be. Inspect moonroof, Ford moonroofs are prone to break in 12th gens. Check tire wear, the tires for a raptor are a bit pricey.
I think a really important thing to look for is the Fuse 27 relocation (TSB 15-0137). This is the fuel pump fuse and has literally melted and caused issues with shutting down while driving or no starts.
Which exhaust do you have? I like this deep brumbling V8 sound while you drive at normal speed.. you don't hear so much from it in the cabin with the original exhaust and resonators. Also the red FORD grill is really cool..
Big time miss is the fact the rocker panels rot out on these trucks. they have tape on the backside holes, which falls off and clogs with debris, rusting out the rockers from the inside out. Also, make sure the driveshaft has had its recall, you can find tons of info regarding this just by searching driveshaft clunk ford raptor.

@@Miguelsgarage Yeah all full sized, full frame Fords from 2003 through 2014 have that problem. Crown Vics, F150's etc. And Ford managed to snake their way out of any recalls from it. Pro tip, never buy any modern full size Ford from any snow/rain state.
Pluggg - The 2015 Platinum EcoBoost unless you're going to be offroading. The newer Platinums are ridiculously nice. ARV116806 - The 2013 Raptor has the upgraded projector headlights.
I guess it was just that time or they cleared the codes and hoped I'd make it far enough away that they would be scott free. But they are covering the entire cost of the repair, so I'm good with it.

Correct , also the other problem with the Gen 1s and other 09-14 f150s is the IWE system utilizing the 4WD .Other than that love the truck .
My dad owns the 2010 Ford Raptor SVT and it runs like a BEAST and even tho it’s a 5.4 it’s still Manley and Buffed
