Steven Mead Masterclass in Germany August 1, 2019

In this 76 minute masterclass Steven Mead gives a pretty much complete explanation of all his main points and brass playing philosophies. It is hoped that this will be of great benefit to students and other teachers.
The areas covered include:
Preparation of the body to perform, the ‘three spaces’, some breathing exercises, the connections between vocalisation brass playing, tongue placement, air speed, vowel sounds, maintaining control, flexibility, articulations, positivity through practice, the connection between the eyes and the throat space.... and more!
This masterclass took place at the fantastic brass workshop organised by Rekkenze Brass, at Haus Marceau, in Lichtenberg, near Hof, Germany.
