how come i don't have the analysis page come up ? when i click a video after i click the "link after x" option ? I link it and it says it has no data. Can i not attach a raw video that i downloaded separately from go to a lap ? and then sync the video to the data of that specific lap ?
I have the new pro Version. I link and resync the video file ok, but I cannot save it so it remains sync. I don't have the tick ✅ option on the top left like in this video. When I go back to home screen and reopen the session it not in sync anymore. How can this be fixed?
How do I save videos recorded on RaceChrono pro to my PC, that includes the speedo, lap times, data etc? I then want to edit them using a microsoft editing suit. Regards Nigel
Nice work !! I have a question.what to choose in the following parameters.? Initializing delay and Request delay? And one more question It is possible to put in video gauge for throttle pos or G metter?
Οκ ! But i had some problems with obd connection and i went to the expert settings and the system wont me to choose something. i chose for initializing delay 1,00s and for Request delay 0,01s .... everything work fine. I must uninstall the system and install it again?
Hi... How the racechrono can idenfity the real RPM? I know you need the racechrono with a external GPS (like a Qstarz 818xt 10hz for example) and a GoPro camera, but the GPS can calculate the real RPM? Can you please tell me your equipment to create videos like that??? thanks!
+Jacques Jacob Sorry I did not see the answer below. But I can create videos like this without the RPM right? Can you recommend the equipment to do this for motorcycles videos??? thanks!!
+Jacques Jacob the RPM gauge will just disappear automatically if there's no data for it. You need an Android phone, a camera (on the phone or preferably action cam, GoPro's are the best), a GPS (Garmin GLO is good) and a mount for your phone or action camera (I use RAM mounts exclusively, their handlebar mount is great for motorcycles).
Jacques Jacob dude use OBD2 bluetooth install on board dianogsis pair whit raceChrono in app(for read car data) + external bluetooth GPS or internal GPS (SPEED)+ goPro..
masteralvin yes, it needs to be moved from camera to the phone. To /DCIM/RaceChrono/ on internal storage or /Android/data/com.racechrono.pro/files/Movies/RaceChrono/ on external memory card.
Ahhhhh thanks that really helped. no wonder it didnt work. another question is that when i started recording it records a video on the phone while the connected gopro is also recording. how do i stop that to save space on my phone?
masteralvin When recording there is an info boxes for both of the cameras. Tap to open the one you want to disable. Then press the camera icon, and it will turn to camera disabled icon. Then it will not be used for recording.
Thank you. I would like to do this with my 350Z. Are there videos that help explain how to do this to me? Maybe it's simple, but I would love to watch how it's done.

Use Circuit tools.
My Racechrono Pro doesn't look like this? I'm running v7.2.6 on iphone 6+
I don't see the video icon
How does it know your cars rpm? I’m wanting to get this app to use on my motorcycle
Do you have to have a OBD link for this app to display the overlays? Or is my iphone camera and this app all I need?
is there anyway to have the display on the phone have time delta +/- for splits instead of only per lap..?
Nice work !!

No need to touch the expert settings if not having trouble. The overlay gauges are not yet configurable, but this feature is coming later.

R26Chris No need to uninstall. Just set them to minimum values. If it doesn't work then increase the initializing delay.

wait i tried to record it after everything is linked but the video recorded on the gopro doesnt appear in my phone, do i need to manually move it?

got it. thanks i'll shoot a few more videos and get it sorted
How does it know the RPM's?
They are recorded using a Bluetooth OBD-II reader connected to the phone and the car's OBD-II plug.
