Your next tutorial should be on how to record audio from ableton and sync it with the video footage, that's something a lot of people don't know how to do and just end up recording the audio with their phone mic

i got the tripod and the extension arm, the apps, the lights all of it and it's great but I'm filming on an iPhone 6s so I need a phone bracket for the extension arm and I can't seem to find one that will fit on the right end of the extension arm, any tips?

You can buy different colored MIDI cables and I believe that editing is used for gradients.

Hey im actually trying to open a launchpad channel but when i record with my mobile phone the audio is a shit and i cant get the perfect ilumination. Or its too dark, or its very lightly and the lights of the launchpad arent bright enough to appear on the video. How can i fix it?

I think he just keeps recording until he gets what he likes then cuts the other footage that’s not good so he records maybe 30 performances but only used 1 good one that’s not cut

when I record with my camera, the lights of the launchpad are very influential because the iso is automatically changed, how can I solve that?
How about the sound lol I alway have the sound of me tapping the button in the video. I heard launchpadder use screen recording program but my computer aren't strong so is there any other way? I also don't want to fake it by putting the sound from the original clip.

TO CLARIFY The 2nd tripod is the same tripod but with the extension arm but the only difference is the attachment at the end it is a Manfrotto 196B-2 2-Section Single Articulated Arm with Bracket. You attach it to the end of the extension arm to give it better angles
Thats answers my question on why is it so dark when the launchpad is so not covered in darknest

Ive read the comments and Ive found that some people linked the actual tripod but the image on Amazon doesn't look like the actual tripod so can someone confirm that it is the actual tripod and not just an extension and if it isn't the actual tripod can someone reply with the link to it. Ok I'm a young teenager like 15 and my dad is getting me a launchpad mk2 for me on my birthday. I don't necessarily have large space and my mum hates large objects *so* how else can i record my video with my iPhone 5s without a tripod but still above my head and it steady (not shaken so fixed in place)???
Random! Attach it to the ceiling. Like actually. There's quite a few ways to do this but it's difficult. If you don't want it hanging by a string ( I don't know why you would do that ) then you should probably the old hammer and nail out and start buying some tracks.

get 2 tall boxes, put 1 on the left and the other 1 on the right of the launchpad. get a flat board, place it across the 2 boxes, forming like a bridge shape. then cut out a hole on the board for your camera to film downwards.
A little idea:instead of programming lights,just make them all green, if you have any programs like Sony vegas or any program that lets you use green screen,put the green screen effects in the launchpad video,and put a video in a lower layer. That way it looks like the launchpad is displaying a video(might not work with phantom launchpad tho)
