Very cool! Is there any way to transfer audio racks between Ableton and the app (and vice versa)? Would be a game changer if you could work on launchpad projects on mobile but at the end of the day be able to still import to Ableton. Very cool and informative video man 😊

Im getting a launchpad but all the work you need to do to set up one song and how complicated it is really put me off it. But this app is really a life saver because i really like the launchpad and what it does, so seeing that app made me want to get a launchpad again. Thanks so much to you and the developers! 😄❤️

you can get the app on your computer but you need bluestacks or somethin else, it is used to install things designed for a mobile device to a computer

I am an Entertainer for kids parties, and am simply looking for something easy to set off certain samples at certain times, for example "Now it's time to sing Happy Birthday" *Press a button and there's the song... Or "Now it's time for musical statues" *Press a button and a custom song starts...
Because at the moment I'm using a laptop running Rekordbox DJ with a DJ controller and it's a pain in the bum, so fiddley in between games and songs...
I think this could be my perfect solution, what do you think?

On my opinion:
Really, its meh
the lights look nice but the slicing of samples would be hard. It would be hard to make clean slices from sample to sample but overall it looks nice (better than unipad anyway :P)

Yeah - if you have an Apple product, you need the 3rd generation adapter.
If you have 1st or 2nd generation, the launchpad doesn't get enough power :/

Fyregold you can find it on the accessories page on apple.com. The 3rd generation adapter is easily recognizable becuase it has both a usb and a lightning port instead of just a usb port.
The way it works is that you plug the adapter into a charger, and then connect the adapter to your phone, THEN vonnecting your phone. The launchpad will draw power from the charger instead of your phone.

you mean "Launchpad Pro", not "iPad Pro" right ;P
Here's some troubleshooting:
1. Do you use the correct adapter (3rd generation)?
2. Is the adapter connected to BOTH the Launchpad AND power?

From my personal experiences you’d need the adapter kaskobi recommends
to drag and drop your project files to play on the go would be great...

Because Ableton isn’t made launchpading. It’s a music production software.
You do know that ableton has built in midi drum functions right?

Super pads lights is on android
Software isn't just as simple as, oh we can just flip a few switches and it'll be on mobile devices. Plus, Ableton is used for WAY more than launchpad. In fact, it's main purpose isn't even for launchpad, it's just something people figured out you could do with Ableton.
There's another one named Unipads but it's only on Android it's really good

I am having a struggle with connecting m launchpad mk2 to my iPad (2017). My launchpad requires to much power and i came across a video in which someone showed how to put a launchpad on low power mode, but that was on a launchpad mini. Can someone help me out how i can turn my mk2 on low power mode? Or is there no such thing?
I have the same problem I wasted like $100 for two camera adapters I hope he responds.
I heard there is no such thing. I have gotten a powered USB hub but still not working. Unsure of what to do.

i have watched allot of some of these video of people playing on a launchpad.
i have always wanted one but i already knew i wasent able to program the songs and that. but now i know that i can do this on mobile to in a much easier way they even update the songs allot and put new ones on i am going to buy the regular launchpad for 200 bucks (for in my country) my friend is going to buy the exact same one with the cable to connect it to the phone (wich im going to do to) this app makes allot able for people who cant program or doesnt even have a computer for this i am verry happy i can do this now. but! now i need to make money for it thats the shitty part!!! :) i am thanking u allot and want to say u are making alot of good videos... what am i saying u are making the best! so thanks for this information!

I like to know too. Got LP Pro, but don’t have UsB 3. Does it mean I have to get power to iPhone or LP, or USB3 adapter “tricks” iPhone and LP just works?
samprock If you have a phone case that charges your phone take it off and put the device in low power mode just in case, if that doesn’t work I dont know
