I have only just found your channel, and I have learned so much already. I have been a welder for nearly 30years and I have recently found time to restore some classic vehicles so it was time to up my sheet metal game. Thanks from the U.K. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 I will be sharing your content with everyone I know and liking and commenting for the algorithm
I know I sound like a broken record with my comments, but what awesome work you do. You can really see how much you enjoy your craft. Keep em comming Karl I'm hooked.
Man I love hearing your thought process when you are making a custom part or piece. Your spatial ability and then putting on the panel or the car is a gift. love watching you work through each project. Great content, and can hardly wait to see the dropped Caddy1
Cuzin Karl you’re one skilled cat! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us common folk lol. There’s a lot of skilled people out there on the ole interwebs, but very few are willing to share what they’ve learned while polishing there craft.
You’re so welcome man thank you! When I was growing up learning this trade was very difficult because there was not much for RUclips that I was aware of. I made many mistakes and struggle to find the answers I was looking for. I’m grateful for the community and RUclips itself to allow this type of sharing and learning to happen
@@MakeItKustom I agree with Clint. I am building a 56 Merc mild custom. Some of the old timers do not really want to share the knowledge. UNLESS you do something wrong. They will tell you right away how wrong you did something but when I am asking for help on how to do something... Crickets. Enjoying the videos. Keep it up.
Clint Vaughn ~ Its because we ARE ol' cats that eat, sleep, no drink(lol), and work all the time.... unless we watch the new PUPS on the net! Must say we do it with different tooling we turn per application, we have 47 sets as of late. Have to say that I appreciate your results and dedication to the craft! KUDO'S! Seth Earned my script brother!
Very nice job, don't listen to folks about the background music. It's fine. You kept it at a very low level, so it wasn't a distraction. Thank you for your time and expertise!
I found this channel about a week ago and can't get enough of it! Great positive attitude coupled with amazing content. I'll be following along closely for future videos.
It's always great to watch a pro. You make it look easy, but I know just because it looks easy it means were watching an expert. Good for you, work hard and be a good boy!
I'm not sure how guys like Jesse james got crowned best fabricators in the world when there are world class metal workers like you out there. Your knowledge, skill, and attention to detail are outstanding! I love that you build most of your machines and tools also to show us guys on a budget how we can get professional results with homemade tools.
Love how organized and clean your shop is! I'd love to be able to do this on a car, but don't have the patience. Thanks for sharing! Nice clear filming.
Your videos are a breath of fresh air. Standing out of the crowd of time eating mindless videos that make me feel good till they are over and I feel guilty for watching them. I end up with a feeling of motivation to work on my projects after your videos.
Awesome stuff man. Y'all are making some EXCELLENT material, I'm learning tons, and You're removing a lot of the Mystery of how some things are done. Keep it up man!
And I hope you are charging big money for it...I don't envy a single piece of equipment and a single minute of passing each and every line under the wheel on this one... exhausted from watching alone...that said, excellent job!
Very happy to have found your channel.. Just starting metal but already feel at home sort of with all this. Thanks so much.. first time comment but watched about 15 videos.. I just did not know what to say other than.. Thanks Carl.. fantastic work.. great teacher.. great content.
Mines an AC motor from a garage sale lol I definitely need a DC motor one day but I couldn’t say no to 10 bucks ha ha Eastwood has a motor set up that I would like to adopt
I love you videos more then any custom work on utube currently. So much good insightful tips. Thanks so much for sharing the knowledge it helps the back yard builds so much.
great stuff and love the technique. Have you ever done any engine turning design on the door panel prior to bead rolling? I think that would be pretty neat
This channel is really amazing! I have a 66' Ford Fairlane that I want to rebuild but have never welded or done any metal work. Once I get my equipment I'll definitely use these videos to do practice pieces before I get into the build.
so happy i fund ur channel. i love sheet metal fab and welding but havent don it in a few years cause my shop was robbed and i lost EVERYTHING!u just lit a fire under my ass and made me remember my passion for it.i have a few hammers and a dolly so im going to get out there and start working sheet metal again. great channel dude,i have worked with some of the best and u have a great talent and im glad to see u doing this yourself instead of making someone else rich, lol.
Hello Karl, I'm a fellow Canadian metal fabricator in Ontario, near Toronto. I just got home this week after major surgery. The correction that you made, and the added excerpt of Will Ferrell had me laughing out loud, and I really want to thank you for that! Excellent instructional video as well. If you are out my way, you and your travelling partner(s) are welcome here for a high quality beef BBQ. It'll be my way of supporting your channel, and you'll get to see what's going on over here. Thanks, Dave.
Oh man I like finding quality content like this, where the people know their shit, present it well, and do it without a massive shop full of the latest and greatest tools or some sponsored bullshit. Keep 'em coming!
Just came across your channel 4 days ago and watched many episodes already. I met/saw many people that like to (TALK THE TALK) and a very few like you that ( WALK THE WALK) . Kudos to camera lady and you for the great content ... keep it coming ... much respect from sunshine state.

I have been a fabricator professionally for over 30 years but never have I stepped into sheet metal and I truly love it. I am just going to have to get more tools and learn it. you do amazing work I was actually directed to your channel by one of my subscribers Brothers Custom Builds. I love your content I am glad to have found your channel. I’m a fan of fabricating and cars and build most of my own stuff, but I’ve never bead rolled at all yet found myself enjoying this video from beginning to end! Great job man, very talented!
Love your machine. I dig the fact you built it yourself. Shows your skill and determination. Go's to show one doesn't need expensive tools and machines to create beautiful works of art.
Great job. And the explanation what you have to do to start, and the correct setup for the dyes to get the look you want. If you don’t take your time and think it through how easy it would be to screw up the panel and all the hard work you just did. I’m amazed that just a few bead rolls can stiffen up the panel so quickly, now I see why you run them in floor panels for stiffness. Thanks. Later
Much more informative than the "professional" custom shows. Good job, great explanations and demonstrations!
Thank you so much! I appreciate this feedback!
If this isn't "professional" then nothing is.
That door handle editing bit was an AMAZING way to address the little slip ups. Made it part of the show. The rewind in particular was golden.
Ha ha thanks so much Kristina is very creative with her editing I love what she does
Gorgeous! Those brass panels are fire! Appreciate you taking the time to show this.

Mines an AC motor from a garage sale lol I definitely need a DC motor one day but I couldn’t say no to 10 bucks ha ha Eastwood has a motor set up that I would like to adopt
I have a 90VDC motor listed for sale now on Facebook in the I love beadrolling group page. Brand new motor.

Just getting into bead rolling , using punch flare dies , I learn something every video , thanks for posting .
Nice. Enjoyed how you explained your way every step and detailed content.
They turned out fantastic. The scales are a different twist. I’m really digging the two tone in the truck. Super cool!
Thanks! Because I’m half Japanese or try and pick up a little design keys here and there in the truck that’s where the scales came in to play
