There is really no need to give it a rev when up changing unless u have missed a gear, that rev is needed when down changing

You can float your gears in sinotruks just like in a freightliner instead of double clutching. Gearbox is unsynchronized, use rpm and road speed

@@whiliyamz it is easier, trust me. Follow the same principle as when you're double clutching, except in this case, you float the gears. Basically like changing gears in a manual car, but without stepping on the clutch.

Another note, floating works in the rpm range of 8 - 15, otherwise gears grind.

When changing from a gear to another gear in a truck, you need to double clutch. How do you double the clutch? Let's assume that you are in gear 7, you press half the clutch, put in neutral, release the clutch completely, press half the clutch again, put it in gear 8 and release the clutch completely. However, if you are downshifting, you need to do the same thing but rev it when it is in neutral. Also, the process of double clutching should be done quickly.
