- "Assault Style Weapons". We need to talk. This term has been abused and re-used by the government for far too long. It has been used to scare people into submission. It has been used to divide the population. And to this day, the government cannot define it.

When I was in the CAF as a Field Engineer we never referred to our select fire, full auto C7A2/C8 rifles as "Assault" anything, they were just called rifles.

They can ban them, they can criminalize ownership of them, i will never comply with the government.
It’s ironic the effect their treatment of law abiding people has on turning them against the government. I don’t think they realize they are backing good people into a corner. And wouldn’t do that with a dog. Much less a person. I’m with you on this, 💯%.
@@canadianoperator They have indeed pushed many people into a corner. I have my doubts as to how far they're willing to go to back up their threats. If they do decide to grow some testes and put those balls where their mouth is, I can assure them they will have deep regrets.

But yeah I don’t think they understand how much damage they’re doing here. And that we just want to be left alone.
Remember the pilot project when they tried confiscating guns in PEI because they thought it would be easy? I can’t wait to see what that will look like when they get to Ontario, or BC.
They are in for a bad time if they keep on this road. They are ultimately criminalizing the only people still willing to follow the strict laws we have here.
When people have nothing to lose, it will be a much harder battle for them. Figuratively and literally.

The part that they aren't fully appreciating is how dangerous it is to phück with that fringe minority.
I've been following all the overtures of this government pertaining to firearms and couldn't stop laughing at their failed attempt in PEI.
That's when it became abundantly clear how toothless their big mouths actually are.
There isn't enough testosterone or manpower left in trudeaus government to do diddly squat, let alone get it done in time for elections.
With the liberals on the way out, if pollievre doesn't fully reverse these cretinous firearms banning bills, he will see the worst side of Canadians not seen since Louis Riel

The craziest gun on the list was the "buttmaster". A one off single shot, small calibre gag gun made by a gunsmith in the US

If it was about public safety, then why aren’t they banning motor vehicles!?
1. There are far more deaths per year involving motor vehicles than firearms
2. Almost Every single motor vehicle has the ability to exceed the the speed limit
3. They say no one “needs” a firearm, so who exactly needs a motor vehicle that can go 150+ kph!?, Nowhere in Canada is there a speed limit over 120kph.

This only a very simple example, and no I’m not advocating to ban cars and trucks but you see my point.
These bans are totally political and there is no way to truly argue that fact.

When people get stabbed on the street politicians don’t call for knife bans.
When a person gets SET ON FIRE in a subway station, those same politicians still do nothing.
When police officers get killed on the first day of a solo shift by someone out on bail awaiting trial for other offences, they don’t call for bail reform.
But yet everyone who hates and completely lacks understanding of firearms (like poly) demand that firearms are banned, citing a school shooting by a psychopath more than 35 years ago as the reason - but then can’t provide any stats or facts on how that would actually improve public safety.
Yeah brother. It’s a fucked up time to be alive.

The SVT 40 isn't an assault type for almost the same reasons the SKS isnt. Caliber hand position, magazine etc ask any other service member .

I was going to do that, but didn't want to use other peoples' work due to copyright reasons. A quick search online will be enough to see them.
@@canadianoperator I appreciate your videos, I just think if there was a side by side photo of the two mossberg models it would be so much better for those who do not have any idea of firearms and believe their bs, I wish someone had the two models and made a video explaining exactly what you did and disassembled both to show the internals 👍🏻, love your videos by the way

The true litmus test for an assault weapon can be proven by arming Justin Trudeau's security team with semi-auto Ruger 10-22's with only one of the standard 10 round box magazines. Oh and yes it must have a wooden stock and no scope because the black ones are too "assault-weaponie" looking and scopes are too sniper-looking. Actually any 22 cal semi-automatic could be suitable for this this evaluation but the mag must not exceed 10 rounds. I would like to see what the response would be from Justin.

@miked.1963 According to our government, the GSG was actually a “variant” of the H&K Mp5. What’s hilarious about that is that they were made by different companies, in different calibers. If that wasn’t enough, GSG was actually sued by H&K not once but TWICE into making their gun less like the MP5.

I can’t believe my M&P 15-22 is a military grade assault weapon. Our poor military would be fucked if thats what they had to use in battle.
