Really good. All of it. Especially that last surprise Italiano segment. Now you've done a Ferrari, gotta do a Fiat! AND an Alfa AND a Lancia.... Do I dare mention Lambo? Great Stuff, Scott.... Merci et Cheers! Dan in Bangor
Al has an awesome Granada there , very good in the factory hubcaps Frankers possibly not impressed not going in the T for a ride Myles ,never take a chance on hoses The 66 is shaping up nice too Thanks for the videos Keep 'em coming !!!
On the Italian guess there, I'm thinking either a Berlinetta 250 coupe -OR- a 275 GTB(?). But I don't think the 275s had a quarter window, so I lean to the 250 coupe.
It was my pleasure to help you out, Scott. They look better on there than I could have imagined. If anybody else has a Renault 5, long shot I know, I have most of the lighting for them. I also have lighting for other models as well.
One thing I have noticed with how you work on old cars. You are never in a hurry, no emergency. I used some of your videos to show my son that taking your time saves time in the long run because you avoid many mistakes. I love the 26 Model T.
That airplane on the T is the coolest thing. Sure looking forward to Matt and Jim souping that buggy up. Sure is good to see another old Poncho back on the road... almost, Cheers Myles. Laughing hard at the scoop on the Renault, actually looks good on it. White walls and those caps on the Granada sure class that up. Cheers.
I need to get a scoop for my 240 Volvo, just to keep the crap out of the ventilation. The space drains down THROUGH the rockers and comes out under the B-pillar. There's very little access other than sneaking between the louvers and dragging shit out piece by piece with a long pair of hemostats or similar. Like Tom, I replaced body parts on a Toyota.--'90 Corolla wagon. Great little car. My daughter cried when I smashed it. Took two years but found a color-matched front clip for $100, and set of four wheels with new tires for another hundred as a bonus. Oh yeah...I also fixed the brakes; partial cause of the crash.
My dad was born in 1925....he remembered when he was 5 years old (1930) him and his dad went to the local Ford dealer to trade in the 1926 T for the newer A model....he could still remember how much more modern the A was compared to the T......Love the videos....thank you.
The R5 has come quite a way from being a Winter Beater Challenge entry. Pretty cool to be able to watch the process of cool, old, and unique cars brought back from the abyss. Each one is a journey with a few surprise steps toward trying to get them as complete as possible.
The Cinq is looking cool. I used to borrow a friends Gordini in the early eighties. It was a great fun little car. We never had to suffer the "Le Car" nonsense here in the UK. Phew!
It was only through Frankers' utmost patience that you and Myles were able to effect such a lovely repair on the Sport Fury fender She's quite the lady!.
I was going to ask if that was a Ferrari that you were VERY carefully removing the headliner from. Others have guessed a 250 GT 2+2 and I would agree. That will be another beautiful car when it's finished. As usual, an amazing variety of cars in this episode.
"All my cars have rips in the headliner from jamming fenders in them" hahah so relatable! Your effort to save the Pentastar mounting hole is commendable, I'd have just mowed over it and stuck a Mr. Horsepower decal in its place.
Hey Kyle! Haha glad you got a laugh... Hope you have recovered from the Sask Wildebeest attack! Jesus I laughed. Your videos always make me late finishing the editing around here!
Back in the 1970s, a friend of mine had a repair shop, it was called Barney’s Bump Shop, it was In Paulsboro NJ. IT WASSO FUN HANGING OUT THERE.. WATCHING YOU GUYS BRINGS BACK GREAT MEMORIES.. I just noticed I had CAPLOCK on. Lol❤
We have 2 short weeks in UK, Monday off this week and Monday off next week, not sure what's going on next weekend but our local pub is having one of their Jamaican BBQs, always worth a visit.
If that 1977 Granada was silver with a blue interior, it would be a clone of my Dad's car. 302 V-8, 4 speed with a bench seat and limited slip rear end. It had those same wheel covers and we all really loved that car. I remember that Dad drove FAST on the Taconic Parkway where we lived in New York. Thanks to Al for saving one of these!
I absolutely ❤️ Myles Pontiac. When you closed the door and it made that great CLICK sound, cool. I had a 64 Catalina 4 door sedan, 25,075 original miles, unrestored. And when you closed any of the doors, they made the same click. I really hope he doesn't f*** that car up. I don't know if he realizes how rare a Canadian Pontiac is.
Sat waiting to leave dock in Cadiz Spain & refuelling bunker got delayed- so just managed to sneak downloading this episode before next dock in Messina Italy on Tuesday - Happy days 😉 - all the best to you Scott and the other agents 👌🏼 take care 😉
I almost fell out of my chair when the Ferrari popped up! I love Italian cars and that was a special treat. Special thanks to John for classin' the place up a bit!
31minutes 20 seconds in and there's some funky bass going down!!! Music aside, great show again. Loving all of Myles input too - he's got such a good vibe. Thank you for what you do!
It should be mandatory that all RUclips videos start with Model T ride footage. This week I found out that 97 years is the expiration date for a T radiator... so, I'm in that battle now. I hate spending money! Cheers from the shed in Iowa
Hi Randahl! Yes, mine has expired too, but I also hate spending money and I can carry a day's worth of water with me in an old milk jug! Cheers from the junkyard...
I've heard pepper will work to stop a slow leak, or Bars Stop Leak. A radiator shop near me used to have a slogan printed on their hat's "Best place in town to take a Leak!
Al’s Granada looks great and you really made the Renault 5 look like factory original with all the last missing little bits The model T is right at home on those country roads Nice metal repair on Myles Fury 👍😃
Been under my car today doing car things and making it shine. Now I get to do it all again from the comfort of CWM, the virtual toke that brings engineering munchies
You should have offered to let Myles drive your R5 home, instead of the Newport Scott. Al's Granada looks like it's ready for a car show, those tires and hubcaps look good on it.
* Suddenly It's 1926 ! Scott us faithful subscribers all had the same look on our faces as Frankers when you merrily drove off without her riding shotgun !😢 Great to Hear Tom ! Call me a Hot Rodder but the best part of Al's Granada after the fact that it's a stick was the Cragar SS 's ! Nice to meet John & Ethan which leads to the most amazing aspect of this vid. Scott in his "Go To A Friend's House For Dinner Shirt" ! All I could think was you mugged some pour drunk bastard who was coming from a Sangria Tasting Party ! Lol ! Nice to see ya cleaned up once in a while though. 👊😎👍
GOTTA LOVE these intros!, someone put lots and lots of time, thought, and work into them, and it shows! (you must do at least one with "Tom's vehicle" pulling into different businesses and chewing them apart with his "same old shite" searing commentary!) Cheers!
A really eclectic mix this week. Lovely to ride out in the T, see Myles projects progressing so well and doesn't Al's Granada look great on those white walls.. Headliner preservation was real teamwork, but surely worth the extra care and time to remove undamaged. Best wishes
Crazy how much of parts availability difference there is for the 66' Fury, I've got a 64' Dodge custom 880, another C body platform car, and the parts are far and few, especially for the cars designed by Virgil Exner, at this point part fabrication seems like the only route to maintaining the C body barges, just like the 60' Fury you painstakingly restored to factory or even better standards! Myles getting in the Renault 5 was like getting inside a sardine can stuffed into a sardine can, we got our weekly serving of "What the fuck" by yours truly, Myles. That Renault 5 is probably the only complete Renault in Canada!
Another great video Scott...It appears that you're quite a pillar in your automotive community! Your work is well respected, as it should be! Have a good one!
That old Pontiac reminds me of the '62 Buick Special I had that was pulled out of a fence row after 20 years. I drove it for several years before the frame finally gave up. I sold it for the low mileage engine and trans for 5 times what I paid for it. The Renault is cool, but looks about the size of a motorized roller skate.I think Myles would agree. Thank you for the weekly escape from my crappy reality. Cheers!
Another superb video Scott and a gorgeous Ferrari at the end - bet Dean will love that - please tell myles we made a bet that he would be back within a half hour lol lol give frankers a pet from me angie U.K. x
Scott, a truly stellar episode unfolded beginning with Frankers' anxiety when the T left the drive without her. Butt her diligence was rewarded with the 97 year young T's return to home base. Transition to Rover bodywork skip over to Myles' Fury bumper adjust and major rust repair in Fury front fender back at the home shop. The only glitch came when Myles' Poncho decided to purge a rad hose on its maiden voyage. Due to a plethora of units at CWMs Command Central a loaner got Myles on his way. The R5 was rewarded with NOS parts, had its shop dust cleansed in time for another fair weather season of utility! Summer whites festooned Al's former winter beater champ for slick looking warm weather hijinks! Tom offered tales of U-pull-it success color matching a Toyota rear door for $50 using his signature colorful lingo! The headliner segment could be Alfa Romeo, Maserati or Ferrari. Cheers from New Mexico!
Another great episode. That model in the opening sequence parked under the "Niagara Loans" sign looks an awful lot like everyone's favorite 60 Fury, very nice. The T looked great in the sunshine - we could see the 2 tone paint very clearly. It will be interesting to see how much the 1/4 mile time drops after the engine swap from Strong's Garage. Some people would LS swap a car to make it go faster, and I think Myles said he could make a slant 6 go faster by swapping a Hemi in there, so we'll see what the "T" swap yields. Al's Granada looks terrific with the whitewalls and wheel covers. It really looks like a garage queen. Once Myles sorts out the final details, the 63 Strato Ch will be a great summer beater, for sure. And the Renault 5 looks great with the new pieces on it, and especially with that super paint job on it. Unlike many of the cars at CWM, this one and few select others have paint jobs that reflect light, instead of absorb light. And it was fascinating to see how the headliner was held in on the mystery classic. My limited headliner experience (Chrysler K cars & a little newer) has been pulling out a solid backer board and just gluing new fabric to it, but working with those old ones really requires skill. Cheers until the next episode.
Thanks for showing the 'Le Car'. I can't remember the last time that I saw a Renault 5 here in the UK despite being a big seller back in the day. I guess that they all rusted years ago and were scrapped.
there's still some around, although usually the post '85 Mk2 version. They are all keepers now especially the fast ones like the Gordini and Turbo, they crop up on the classic car market. Clios are getting more attention these days.
OK Scott--You both get Demerits for NOT wearing Masks and getting all that Foam dust floating around...I know-- as that happened to me. So Be Careful for all of us. Meanwhile Poor Frankers wanted to ride in the "T" but managed to stay behind and guard the open door. So good to see your Spring look like a real Spring. We still have wet ground and cool temps. Love Miles' work- so he has really gotten to the core of that Dodge! Thanks for Sharing-you make it fun for all!! Cheers, Rich
Wow.. a 1960 250 GT 2+2.. not too often you get to see someone working on what will likely be, if it's done nicely- a half- to three quarter million dollar car. Amazing.. As usual, my never miss an episode show. Love what you guys do. If I wasn't so old, I'd be doing it too.
LOve to see how Scott sort of "slides" the hammer head when he pounds out the sheet metal seam of the patch. I think this is part of his magic with panel-pounding!! Thanx!
Dang the Renault 5 sparkles in the sunshine.. you did a great job painting and fixing this rare car back in action again. When I was a teenager starting out working at a Volvo Dealer Ship over in Sweden, Volvo sold these Renault 5 brand new, very familiar how they were put together. Hit from the sides, there was not much protection for driver or passengers, repaired several bad impacts and replaced even roof panels on a few. Worse "cussing" moments were hard front collisions...taking them apart & straighten frame towers... very thin metal on the body and not so much good welding even on new cars. But every time I see one of these cars the memories comes back from starting out as a body-tech on Volvo's, British Leyland's "Princess" cars for awhile and many others as the shop took in almost anything with 4 wheels on with dents or rust. These Renault 5 was very popular in Europe, but the salt on the roads during wintertime, really made the metal disappear fast and very soon, the junkyard was the next stop. Thanks for a fun episode Scott, Cheers * * * from Texas. 🤠
Hahahahaha !!!! "Drive the property values down enough & buy another house" ..... LMAO 🤣 🤣 🤣 I remember , an old AMC dealer . Out of an old gas station ⛽ ( back in the day ) They had those Renault 5 ( Le Car ) s , Stacked liked cord wood , in their back auxiliary lot . By the late 80s , not one of those were roaming the streets . Al's Granada is ready for the , pebble Beach car show 🏆🙏 Outstanding headliner removal tutorial 👏👏👏👏👏 Great point about hand built cars 🚗 I never thought of it , that way before . That might explain why , that headliner was in great original condition
I’m always impressed at the “relaxed” sound a T makes when tooling down the road at 30 MPH. As always, a great episode filled with a variety of cars and projects- the very reason we all watch wearing a smile 😊
All the car detailing channels watching you wash the Five and screaming about how you didn't use the triple distilled Evian de mineralised car rinsing fluid.
I had a 67 fury VIP mine had like metal flake on the blue seats car was blue to . great to see the T out and Myles try and just a good time thanks guys. cheers.
The Granada looks great in the narrow walls. that was close to the last of the white wall tires. for a while, I recall, they tried to push a narrow wall along with a narrower red wall around the white wall with a little separation. Didn't go over well. I think someone made a three-stripe red wall. Be neat if you could find them. If someone knows more, please chime in. Good vid, Lee
Couldn't help notice that your friend John was wearing a hat that said Seattle on it. That's my home ground. I am going to go ahead and guess the car is a 60's vintage Ferrari. Maybe something similar to a 250 GT?
about that intro.... diggin' the overhead electrical power-grid wires for the city buses. i'd completely forgotten about them!!! haven't thought about those for many, many years. (haha) and BTW, the hood on that "T" looks 'n works pretty much the same as the one on my 1953 MG!
Yey!!! Best part of the weekend. Duh WHAT! Scott using the disk instead of the sanding belt. Ill never waste my time again. 😂 Jeez i feel dumb. 🤦 How cool
Another hour or so gone just like that!! Enjoyed all the segments but it was amazing to see the old headliner come out all in one piece! Thanks Ethan for getting the best views possible.
Update on the little 82 Chevy Citation i bought last week. IT RUNS (sorta) and drives!! I have a carb kit on its way and itll get a good tidying sometime this week when i get a moment.. just excited that i could drive it around the yard a little.. not bad for $200
That Granada sure takes on a different personality with the wheels changed, still looks good. Interesting that every blue car gets repainted red and red car gets repainted blue.

Hey Scott, hope you're doin' well ? Some advise for effortless cleaning of whitewalls/lettering (even blackwalls), use Hertel or Fantastic spray cleaner (Hertel is better)... A couple of spray shots around the tire then a couple of passes with a nylon brush, rinse and its done, you wont believe how white it will be... One minute per wheel, you'll never want to use SOS pads or anything else again... Believe me, been there lol ! As always, thanks for the videos, take care !
I've always had a soft spot for Ford Grenadas and Futuras, Al's is looking super sharp! I'm thinking that some diamond quilted vinyl in bright green might be the ticket to sprucing up the boring ass grey dash on the family minivan. I vote for keeping the "Le Car" decals on the new Renault, it always made me think of Pepe Le Pew.
Well good luck with the summer challenge, John. That Red car is so beautiful. Thanks to Mr Google I think I know what it is. Excellent content, Scott, something for everybody. All the best, Mart in England.

Another great video Scott...It appears that you're quite a pillar in your automotive community! Your work is well respected, as it should be! Have a good one!
Tom is Gold❤😊
Hey Miles, a second class ride beats a first class walk.
I found this channel years ago with the Hotboxing the classics in the renault.
Cheers!
Another superb video Scott and a gorgeous Ferrari at the end - bet Dean will love that - please tell myles we made a bet that he would be back within a half hour lol lol give frankers a pet from me angie U.K. x
Thank you for not washing the 5 in your swimming suit!lol
Looking like a good ride in the "T" !
The car that Scott helped remove the headliner from is a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT 2+2.
Thanks for showing the 'Le Car'. I can't remember the last time that I saw a Renault 5 here in the UK despite being a big seller back in the day. I guess that they all rusted years ago and were scrapped.
Need to find a Yugo to go with it.
there's still some around, although usually the post '85 Mk2 version.
A reliable car that's nearly 100 years old. My grandpa was born that year❤
1977 the year I went in the US Army and left behind a 1973 Plymouth Chrysler, Love the Car and what you have done with It, Thumbs Up Dude!....
Wow.. a 1960 250 GT 2+2.. not too often you get to see someone working on what will likely be, if it's done nicely- a half- to three quarter million dollar car. Amazing.. As usual, my never miss an episode show. Love what you guys do. If I wasn't so old, I'd be doing it too.
See Myles; Randy Newman was WRONG!! 😂 Fury looks awesome! Freaky intro! S. King would be proud.... ✌️ Le Car (Le Pew!) Looks so complete!
Can’t believe Frankers didn’t run after you in the T. Mine would and be pissed.
The references to "coach built" on the headliner car tipped it off, looks like a Ferrari to me.
LOve to see how Scott sort of "slides" the hammer head when he pounds out the sheet metal seam of the patch. I think this is part of his magic with panel-pounding!! Thanx!
I love to watch the t model cruise down the highway
Thanks for a fun episode Scott,
Cheers * * * from Texas. 🤠
Hahahahaha !!!!
"Drive the property values down enough & buy another house" ..... LMAO 🤣 🤣 🤣
I remember , an old AMC dealer .
Out of an old gas station ⛽
( back in the day )
They had those Renault 5 ( Le Car ) s ,
Stacked liked cord wood , in their back auxiliary lot .
By the late 80s , not one of those were roaming the streets .
Al's Granada is ready for the ,
pebble Beach car show 🏆🙏
Outstanding headliner removal tutorial
👏👏👏👏👏
Great point about hand built cars 🚗
I never thought of it , that way before .
That might explain why ,
that headliner was in great
original condition
I’m always impressed at the “relaxed” sound a T makes when tooling down the road at 30 MPH. As always, a great episode filled with a variety of cars and projects- the very reason we all watch wearing a smile 😊
Granada is definitely showing off some Granadian Granuck spirit with those caps!
All the car detailing channels watching you wash the Five and screaming about how you didn't use the triple distilled Evian de mineralised car rinsing fluid.
I had a 67 fury VIP mine had like metal flake on the blue seats car was blue to . great to see the T out and Myles try and just a good time thanks guys. cheers.
Loving the Model T, the Ponti, Renault and the last car I thought Ferrari?
Your been busy Scott 🙀all these friends 👍🏻.
The T is looking grand! I probably better get my hands on a DGF coozie. Cheers!
Hood scoops are good for an additional 50 hp...just as Dan at DD's speed shop. I'm assuming it's been Frankers approved?
The Granada looks great in the narrow walls. that was close to the last of the white wall tires. for a while, I recall, they tried to push a narrow wall along with a narrower red wall around the white wall with a little separation. Didn't go over well. I think someone made a three-stripe red wall. Be neat if you could find them. If someone knows more, please chime in.
Good vid,
Lee
cooker tire has lot of old styles
Couldn't help notice that your friend John was wearing a hat that said Seattle on it. That's my home ground. I am going to go ahead and guess the car is a 60's vintage Ferrari. Maybe something similar to a 250 GT?
Kyle would not approve of that welding job of the Fury fender. ;-)
about that intro....
diggin' the overhead electrical power-grid wires for the city buses. i'd completely forgotten about them!!! haven't thought about those for many, many years. (haha)
and BTW, the hood on that "T" looks 'n works pretty much the same as the one on my 1953 MG!
The Renault 5 (aka Le Car) is looking good!
I'm really digging the Pontiac. Scott, I think you should help Miles with the metal work - hint, hint 😉
Another great time with the coldwar motors folks
I have a carb kit on its way and itll get a good tidying sometime this week when i get a moment.. just excited that i could drive it around the yard a little.. not bad for $200
Wow that's bonkers. What color is it?
Model T Drive loved airplane on the front radiator cap you have all the toys like it❤
That Granada sure takes on a different personality with the wheels changed, still looks good.

Scott, your T hood mascot needs a bigger tail/rudder to keep it straight!!!!
