Queens 👸
How's it going Lizzy? You prepping for graduation?
@@HeyDoctorHelene I have a question
Yes
I wanna become a doctor. I’m a high school senior/ dual enrollment student. I should be graduating next year with my diploma and degree. I am definitely interested in Emergency Medicine, orthopedics, and gastronologist. So I got a long way too go. Definitely inspired and happy to see your position and how it works around in the hospital.
Thank you!!! Best of luck to you. More content coming
Congrats! That’s so amazing and so happy for you! I’m a pre-med and started working as an emt a few months ago so I can really relate to what you said about having to maintain distance with patients cuz of covid. What a crazy time to start in the medical field! I’m interested in EM in the future so I’m excited to follow your journey!
Excited to share with you!!
Congratulations. What an amazing journey you have. All those patients are lucky. Keep at the grind!!
Thank you for sharing with us! Man before you know it 4 years pass by and you're an attending! Hopefully by then travelling to different countries will be safe so that you can celebrate that achievement.
Oooh don’t jump too far in advance haha. It’s only month #1😂

Wouldn’t it be easier to shower at the hospital and change before you get in your car carrying the germs with you? I noticed a lot of Doctors/PAs change/shower at home. New subbie ❤️❤️

As an EM Doctor or Resident would say it’s difficult or not too difficult to maintain a “normal life” with your spouse, Gf, kids Mon-Sun etc. or is a normal life pretty hard being in EM?? Thankyou, awesome content.
Hey Doc!!! 👋🏽👋🏽
Loved this vlog so much! Congratulations on beginning this next chapter of your journey! I'm wondering what resources you used to create your notebook that you are showing in the beginning of the vlog? Thanks in advance!!
Also, a thousand times YES on a video on how to excel on away rotations! We'd love to see it.

When you move into a residency apartment! Is everything included bed, tv etc
Idk what you mean by residency apartment. It’s a normal apartment which usually will not include furniture
Hey Doctor Helene oh ok
This may not be a sharing question so if your not comfortable with answering it then just don’t answer, but as a resident and as a intern how much did you make?
Depends on the program. Like 50-60k but taxes taken out of course
