When I was a RCP, I was called to a patient's room in respiratory distress and he refused to let me help him because I am Black. I informed his nurse and politely stood at the foot of his bed and watched him struggle to breathe. I asked him SEVERAL times if he was ready for me to assist him as he continued to gasp for air and say "No." The rules are if a person is conscious they have the right to refuse treatment. So I stood there and waited. Finally, he went into respiratory arrest, it was at that point I called a CODE RED, placed a breathing tube in his airway, placed him on a ventilator, and sent him to the ICU. Fortunately, he survived and his family thanked me later. Hatred of a person for an attribute they have absolutely no control over is crazy, but if you are willing to die for your convictions, then I am more than happy to allow you to do so. Be blessed!

I really loved this video because the most recent virtual info session I attended was not as insightful as I hoped. It focused more on the master's program path to Med Sch After watching this, I am really gravitating towards Morehouse and I am hoping that I will be receiving an interview invite and eventually an acceptance. May I please ask how you navigated housing? Do most students live on campus housing or away from campus? Also, most downtown areas across the country are often challenging to live in in terms of safety and accessibility; Did you live downtown which I think is where MSM is located and how was your experience? Hi. I'm sorry I was mean before, but how was your Memorial Day? Yesterday, I had a barbecue at my church. I also had a cake to celebrate my little cousins' graduations. Daddy and my little brother Seth went to the barbecue with me. Our uncle and Daddy's little brother Andrew drove us there. Right after the barbecue, Andrew drove us home. Right after he left, I walked all the way to church and back home. My uncle was very worried about me, so he texted me when I was on my way home.

Hey. I'm sorry that I was mean earlier. I just wanna tell you about some pain that I have. I have been walking recently. On Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, I walked a little bit over 10K, which is 10,006 steps. My side and lower back still hurt. Don't say that it's menstrual cramps because it's not! My period was over on the day I walked over 10K. Don't tell me that it's all in my head because it's not! If you ever walked 10K or more before, you should understand how painful it is! Don't say "stop wearing heels" because I never wear heels! Don't ever call me crazy.

Helene, I need to talk to you about a very serious issue. It's called medical gaslighting. It needs to end now. Do you know how many women were killed by medical gaslighting?! Since you're a woman, you should understand other women's pain. I'm serious. Why do you people call her crazy when she comes into the hospital when she's sick? At least she has common sense, unlike you people! Did you know that women get heart attacks, too?! Would you ever tell your mother that she's crazy? Would you ever tell your mother that her pain is all in her head?! You people need to do a better job. I hope you're reading this. Here. Repeat after me: A. I will take women's pain seriously. B. Women's pain is NOT all in their head. C. MEDICAL GASLIGHTING IS A CRIME! Since you're a woman, you should know all about the female body. Do you not know anything about your body?! The female body is what gave you life! Since you're a woman, you should understand how painful ovarian cysts are. Are you learning anything from this, Helene?!

You should know that medical gaslighting is a crime. You should know that medical gaslighting kills women. You should know that women get heart attacks, too. You call a woman crazy when she checks into the hospital when she's sick? Well, at least she has common sense! You need to do your job responsibly. When a woman is suffering from ovarian cysts, NEVER laugh at her and tell her the pain is all in her head. You're a woman, so you should understand how painful it is. How would you like it if you get old and are dying? Would you like your former patient to tell you to stop being dramatic?! Do you want the female gender dead?! Do a better job and listen to women when they say they're in pain!
