    This is a terrific demo of how the FBC gets connected and how it uses the battery with the higher voltage. Thank you for making this video!

    This video was amazing. We need more D Class vids. I hope they upgrade the bike. ITs the best one of the bunch.

      Okay I'm just finding your channel. I got an area a couple Rider 18 a 52 volt. Maybe I can get a square battery and it's the high bar. And if you could help me with a link that'd be great. I just want to do it as easy as possible. Too bad they don't make it like all you have to do is plug it in. Instead you get it which is not a big deal, but I also don't want it to look. Really Canon ghetto well looking like crap. Too bad of the Ariel Kepler you can't mount a rectangle underneath the back bike rack. That would be cool

    How’s the dual battery setup holding up 4 months later?

    So the combiner that you got will combine 48v and 52v battery?
    Very cool video.

    Question for you Johnny when connecting three batteries to a quad fusion combiner and I have two controllers do I need to install a third connection to my controllers so it can connect to the out on the fusion combiner. I hope you understand that. Thank you

    How’s it holding up with the 52V battery? I have a V2 d-class and thinking about doing this with a “52v” battery which has a max voltage of 58.8V but the stock battery only goes up to about 53.8V so I’m a little hesitant

      40ish for both batteries, 18ish for single 48v. Utilizing throttle only.

    Quick question if you don't mind. Can that battery be mounted upside down? With the mounting plate above the battery?
    I'm looking to mount mine under the seat to avoid using extensions. I assume it would work but be more difficult to place the battery in and out. Which isn't a problem since I'm not planning on removing it often or at all.

    • @ravenspe
      @ravenspe Год назад

      I ended up purchasing this battery and doing this mod. The battery can mount upside down but required taping two additional screw holes near the bottom of the mount. If I had only used the the supplied holes I suspect the mount would eventually snap in two. So there you go, it works with a small modification.

    With the 2nd battery installed what’s the speed, range and does it it have torque.
    I was thinking about to get the grizzly but now that I saw this is cool add on, I’m thinking of the price range comprare the Grizzly/D class is it really worth it?

      Grizzly version 2 just released. 37mph top speed with dual motor and dual 52v batteries. Even with my setup and battery upgrade, Grizzly v2 outperforms in speed, power, and range with a price difference of only $500.

    Coming from the rc industry you don’t need all those connectors.The less connectors the better current will flow. Just solder extra long negative black and red positive wires and use one male and female connect towards the end under your seat.

    WoW that's how you open a box very boring

    • @NelsonCummings
      @NelsonCummings 6 месяцев назад

      Yeah I always fast forward the box opening. Everybody's got to show the razor blade and open air every little box but some people need that. But after you watch a few videos of opening the box just hit fast forward. But this looks like a really good setup. The only thing is I got the high bar but I was thinking of a rectangle or a triangle battery so it doesn't look like Frankenstein with black duct tape and wires all over the place. Too bad they don't just make it. All these e-bikes should come with you. Pull up a cover off and just plug that bad boy in that would be a great selling feature

    Is this bike worth it for $1800 used in very good condition 10 hrs total ridden it's gen 2.

    • @johnnycrash4838
      @johnnycrash4838  2 года назад

      I’m going to say no, not worth it for $1800. This model was discontinued so replacement parts will be hard to come by. If you can muster a few more hundred dollars, you can purchase a brand new ebike that comes with a one year warranty. Try negotiating down to $1500.
      Ebikes have come a long way although have not been perfected just yet. I’m part of multiple Facebook ebike groups and I still see a lot of posts on ebike issues such as motor malfunctions, controller overheating, and displays going out . These companies provide one year warranties for these reasons except they cannot be transferred to new ownership.
      Good luck👍
