  • The St. Lawrence river connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Great Lakes and as such has been a major shipping channel for hundreds of years. The bottom of the river is littered with the remains of ships that ran aground or were lost during storms. Jonathan explores some of the wrecks and gets a unique look into history.

I usually don't watch documentaries about the ocean but you actually make it fun to watch. Thank you, Johnathon for delivering us these fabulous videos. My niece looks up to you as a hero.

It is a very funny coincidence in getting a video about shipwrecks, today. I was just watching the news, yesterday, and it was showing the wreck of a 10,000 tonne single screw motor tanker in our Maltese seas which happened to be the worst accident ever happening in our shipyards. Sadly, three days ago was the 20th anniversary of that horrible event. But, the images they were showing about the wreck-reef were just stunning.

I love St. Lawrence River diving. The water's never warm, the vis sucks and the current is ripping. But there's nothing more fun the playing with the wild life and seeing amazing wrecks and sunken villages
