Just curious, if you wanted more time why didn’t you just do a dive with deco? Is it because of equipment availability? Or just to keep things simple?
We had a little deco, but there wasn't really need to be down there a really long time. We got what we needed for shots.

Lake Michigan, Huron and superior offer some great diving. I live in Michigan and lake Huron has some great historical dive sights near Alpena and Presque Isle. Thanks again!

Well I first started watching your videos in school because my science teacher wanted us to see some animals in their natural habitat, and after a while I started watching all of your other videos and now hopefully I can get scuba-diving certified soon. Thanks for showing me a cool side of the world I can enjoy and that never gets boring

not to be that person but actually "marine" only applies to saltwater things! lake champlain is freshwater so it's inappropriate to use "marine" here. :)
Shouldnt the captain report the wreck? You mentioned only he knows the location which sounds strange. Also strange how there is zero fish life down there...

A dive in the dark abyss is spooky. And the spooky things in my opinion is the cold dark water and there are no fish in site. And i wonder what living things live in the cold dark depth of the ocean, lake and river.

When I was a kid I always pretended to be mermaid because I loved the water. Watching Jonathan's scuba diving videos brings back that childhood wonder and joy I had. Just the adventure and beauty is worth getting scuba training.

Great video, Jonathan, as always . But nitrox does not allow you to dive deeper as you know. Just longer bottom time. With 100feet dive and EAN32 you're almost at 1.4 ppo2

I have seen very few wrecks in any other environments than this. Only when I was on vacation to couple of times. I live in Muskoka Ontario. We have steamship wrecks. Once you get below 50 ft it's pitch black even at noon on a sunny day. But the wrecks are beautifully intact. 90 years old and there's still paint.
