Bernard Sumner's voice blends seamlessly with synths and drums, creating a sound that is fresh and modern, but at the same time reminiscent of the best days of '80s dance music.
I'm from 1995. So, "Music Complete" and "Tutti Frutti" was my first single than was a chapter in my life while New Order exist. Now 9 years later I listen this with a deep nostalgy.
Can't get over that line though:
"You've got me where it hurts but I don't really care cause I know i'm ok when ever you are there."
That's just an amasing line.
And that whole video story about an old showhorse saying goodbye with one last dance, graciously gifted to him by one empathic dancer.

I really have no idea who they were even by. This guy just used to send us mixtapes, and you'd just play them in the car. That's all we had in the car, this tape of Italian electro," Rolling Stone reports." I thought I can hear the Italo Disco in it :) Beautiful!

The members of New order were in thier late 50s when they recorded this. Still got it.
Great video, open to interpretation! I see a man who struggles to keep up in a youth-focused world... Impressed by New Order, making high quality music on the 5. decade.
Very, very, very moving, I actually got a tear in my eye at the end.
Bringing back the 90s dance floor with subtle grace and sophistication. New Order have always been that cool but slightly geeky band that inspires geeks (like myself) to unleash their awkwardness (dance moves) freely, unashamedly and unapologetically.

Man, as one of the army that's followed NO for DECADES now, the vibe of aging and your best years being in the rear-view mirror (and being replaced by a newer model) are fabulously laid out in the storyline. Musically I miss the extended instrumental-disco conclusion of the original - but marrying this music to this man's story is so perfect. Thanks.

Me too the Music Complete album is pure brilliance. Well worth waiting 10 years for. Also Bad Lieutenant's "Never Cry Another Tear" is well worth a listen if you like the work of Bernard Sumner. Give it a listen you'll be pleasantly surprised. Summer Days being the stand out track
