great review. It still amazes me though, that 3rd party companies can produce legends class figures with great articulation and Hasbro seems unable to do the same.
I have the origional with the Energon first figures. I'm not going to reinvest. The tweeks are nice & mini"quake" is neat, if anyone missed this the first time around I'd say dont hesitate to get this. The full set in all modes is pure awesome
thanks for showing these off with United Bruticus, getting this set very soon (stupid customs!) and the more I see of the Crossfire repaints the more excited I am by them. Swindle is a great improvement (I don't understand the stripes on the back either tho) and Blast Off looks really good too.

might use my spare tank as Quake, and agree that Sandstorm is probably the closest to an existing character for the yellow copter. Might just make up new names for them.
Any issues with the plastic on yours? My Blast Off's got stress marks all over the pin joints, was like that straight out of the package. They don't feel as sturdy as my Warbots or Protector armor. Still really happy with the set, though. Bruticus looks so badass it's unbelievable.

I've seen the reprolabels set and I can understand the Quake one, but not so much the Spinister one. Honestly all helicptor-Swindle reminds me of is either G1Sandstorm (kinda) or that weird legends Grindor repaint from 2010:P
hey peaugh with the mini shockwave you can re-enact that g1 episode that bruticus took over cybertron and used shockwave to kill the drones and then blast him into space p.s that episode is called the revenge of bruticus
+peaugh You ended up buying the reissue but you did have the older Explorer and Munitioner. (In terms of the TFC figures alone).. Is there any big improvements on the old ones or is it just the coloring? Why did you sell the original ?

The black and yellow painting on the jeep is just like the paint apps on the G1 Swindle.

I already own the ROTF colored FP Bruticus. Is there any validating reason you find for me to buy this set as well?

Peaugh, you never pulled quake's legs out, they extend out for a longer barrel.

you could switch the arms on miniquake and have his blaster arm be used as a laser sight

peaugh, is the referral credit pretty good? I would assume so. Since 3rd party transformers are SO expensive and you buy so many.

Part of me really likes this, but a bigger part of me knows that standing next to Giant, he would still look dinky and loose.
