- Join me, as I give my HONEST review of Nemesis Reborn and its surrounding area Forbidden Valley, which has been re-imagined and rethemed for 2024 at Alton Towers. The original B&M invert at Alton Towers closed on 6 November 2022 for a major refurbishment, we visited during it's opening day, and shared our thoughts!

I really like the theming of the area- and i’m excited to see more of these videos!
Rollercoasters have a limited lifespan. The tracks where out and any other rollercoaster would simply be replaced with a new different ride.
The fact they retracked it and it is still just as popular and still a massive draw is a testament to just how good Nemesis is.
Exactly! We’re very lucky we’ll be able to continue to ride this classic for another 30+ years! 🦀🙏🏻

It was a very good opening day. I didn’t go on nemesis because I waited until it went dark and it shut down.😢
I think it looks great, I'm so pleased that they've invested the money in retracking it. Everyone involved in the project and the Merlin Making Magic team have done a fabulous job! The eye, the themeing and the station look fantastic! Here's to the next 30 years 🎉
I've not been on Reborn yet, but I'm pleased to hear that it rides the same, I just hope that the rattle settles down. It's a little worrying... but I'm sure it'll bed in though.
I've got everything crossed for the waterfalls to return, even if they can't be red. I'm also not a huge fan of the new soundtrack, I've listened to the full 19 mins and it just doesn't seem very dynamic, it's very repetative and sort of boring... the old one was very evocative and so beautifully crafted.
I also believe the old Nemesis music is better. The new one sounds great, but whenever it builds up to something, it fades to nothing, and I wish it was more faithful to the original.

It was good but last time I went 2 days ago they only had 3 rows open at the front I think the back of it is rough or summit
Love Alton Towers been going for years and it still all looks brand new, nothing looks worn or dated well kept standard and amazing rides, nothing worse than going to a theme park what's unkept really adds to the experience worth every penny, only thing what's changed is the runaway train isn't as fast as what it used to be, but have a look for the videos of the choo choo woman who used to work there shes class.
We love the Runaway Mine train, it’s great for all ages! Glad to hear you also love the park!

It's a shame they totally made it identical rather than doing something amazingly different with it. Most people saying they preferred older version bar the theming.
It's definitely a preference thing. I really like what they've done, and it has really improved the overall look and feel of the area! Nostalgia wise, I think I will miss the original, but I probably shouldn't as the new update is better on paper, it's hard to describe! 😂

the colour scheme was better on the old one. The new colour scheme feels very cheap and lacklustre in comparison.
I wasn’t sure when I initially saw the track reveal, but it’s definitely grown on me over time! I can see why it divides opinions though! I love both
