I had a similar moment. The first time 2013ish smash 3ds+wiiu was anounced, I saw namco was helping and joked about pacman being in it. It blew my mind that I acidentaly predicted it. That or I jinxed smash.

Not really. In both terms of metaphor and in a very literal sense I can make the case.
Mike Hatley How so? Phil Fish is a complete jackass who doesn't understand the first thing about how PR works and says reprehensible things because he has no filter. Jim has a filter that is so strong he manages to make obvious jokes that people have to twist horribly in order to create PR nightmares (#istandwithganondorf)

The same thing happened with me, I was talking to some colleagues about how it would be cool to add a persona character into smash, then about a half hour later, I discovered that joker from persona 5 was added to smash.

This is the true meaning of Jimquisition.
Its funny because that kind of ''gaming prophet'' thing happens quite often.
People always though they would make a remake of Pokemon ruby and saphire. Many people though Shulk would be in the new Smash Bros. Many people though Hyrule Warriors would feature all the fan-favorite characters like Midna and Girahim. And low and behold, all of it actually happened.
I'd say being so close to the announcement of a RE Remake was a bit more impressive:
Pokemon has been on a pattern of New Pokemon, remake of next old pokemon, repeat, for a good while now, so obviously Ruby and Sapphire would get their turn.
Monolith Soft was purchased by Nintendo, so it seems obvious they would bring in their biggest main character, and the whole point of HW was to throw Zelda-fan-favorite everything in one huge bombastic explosion.
