The mechanics of Super Double Dragon are grossly underappreciated. That was by far the series best.
Dude I think the game boy advanced version of double dragon may have the best mechanics over all.

The double dragon of OpenBor is the best i ever played as well of Muguen in a few stages it's insane with limitless characters you ever dream😊

My favorite was the Double Dragon for the SNES back in 1992. I have fond memories of playing that game with my brother and friends. It was so much fun. I can't wait for the newest one on the Nintendo Switch. 😄

I had the original NES Double Dragon I & II. My sister and I loved this!
Dad took me to the arcade on base, and with five bucks in quarters, we beat double dragon. I’ll never forget , at the end of the game , as dad and I were battling each other , a group of young g.i’s we’re cheering me on. Life moment right there. Miss you , pop. Dance with momma now and sing to her.

My forever love will be Arcade and NES Double Dragon II: The Revenge. I was ecstatic when it was in Xbox's store. Such great memories returned in my mind. 👊😎

The best Double Dragon Game is a fan made version called Double Dragon Forever. The game play fighting style is both fighting styles of DD1 & DD2 plus extra moves & a 3rd player. Exactly the way DD3 should have been made. If you've never played it before. Look it up. It runs on PC. I'm sure you can find a download somewhere online.
Double Dragon IV should have been done like Double Dragon Neon: you have new graphics and sound tech, use it!
I get they were trying to make it more like the NES versions but it still wasn't that great.

I remember when Double Dragon appeared in the arcades. There was such a buzz around it. That never really happened again until Street Fighter 2 turned up. 😎 Great times man.

I just want people to know that my comments are coming from a place of passion and love for gaming as somebody who grew up as a child of the 80's that experienced so many generations of gaming across so many platforms that I just want the best possible future in the interest of fairness and enjoyment for everyone old and young.
The one I liked the most is Super Double Dragon and the one I like the least is Double Dragon V, I almost felt sick playing that xD

I'm not. It looks like a knockoff of Shredder's Revenge.
Arc System Works sees Double Dragon as nothing but a cashgrab franchise.
@@KEN-1991 I can see why people would jump to the conclusion, given the fact that Shredder Revenge came out a whole year before us. But it definitely take more than a year to develop a game of this scope.
The art style was defined before SOR or RCG was announced, and is actually based on my Avengers mock up in 2015 (It's still on RUclips).
I was definitely surprise to see SOR, TMNT and RCG that took the traditional formula to polish it. As an indie dev, it's much harder for me to compete in the art department, but I've focus more on the gameplay. That takes a bit more than the trailer to show, but hopefully people will like it when they try and see how much love I've put into it.
And I take full responsibility for any problem the game might have. Arc System Works was simply giving indie and creativity a shot.

Heck, they should give me the franchise.
I'd remake it Final Fantasy VII style, give it a full-fledged story that's faithful to the original, and it would play like a co-op SIFU.

• Battletoads/Double Dragon (Multi-platform)
• Double Dragon Advance (GBA)
• Double Dragon Zeebo (Zeebo)
• Ultimate Double Dragon (PC Homebrew)
- The original trilogy does NOT belong on the NES and Game Boy, the games are too big and detailed to be 8-bit, the SNES is made for Double Dragon I, II & III.
- Aggressors of Dark Kombat will always be the true Double Dragon fighting game on the NEO•GEO, not the actual two!
- Also, all I see in Double Dragon Gaiden is a Shredder's Revenge knockoff. Arc System Works never gives the franchise anything new, they only milk Double Dragon.
- American companies suck at franchising Double Dragon. It should’ve stayed in Japan like the River City franchise.

@@i-frames816 Eu tive um Zeebo em 2012 (Comprei lacrado por R$ 120,00) consegui colocar todos os jogos (tinha um camarada que desbloqueava por R$ 80,00 em 2016) e posso afirmar que o Double Dragon é muito bom, mas não posso falar a mesma coisa do restante da biblioteca do console.
