Always glad to see others coming up with their own inventions! I've thought about the angled ledge - both as part of the BAG-it and as an add on piece. Might come up with a prototype soon. Thanks for taking the time to contribute.
I ordered this from you and put it in action today along with your other Littermaid product, the PermaLid! As if having a Littermaid litterbox didn't make things easy and non-messy enough, this makes cleaning up after my cat even more of a breeze. Glad I'll be saving the money on those flimsy plastic containers, too. The Bag-it and PermaLid fit the Littermaid precisely and worked. I'm a very satisfied customer! If anyone out there has a Littermaid (which I also recommend- worth the $) get this!
I like the invention but I made one myself in 5 minutes with a metal coat hanger, vice grips, and duct tape. Have you considered making the top a sharp triangular shape instead of flat (like |\ instead of _ ) so less litter will rest on top of the thing?
I just got one, with the perma-lid, through Amazon. I have a question on the Bag-it: Mine has a ridge around the inner edge on one side, does that go down into the receptacle or up towards the lid? Do you feel the need for a carbon filter with the Bag-it/Perma-Lid combo?
You would need the BAG-it 3G for LitterMaid 3.x litter boxes. The 3rd edition currently has a single cat and multicat model, but that doesn't affect the BAG-it
lol cool, thanks... theis littermaid model sucks though, i have the exam same one. For some reason it doesn't scoope at all sometimes. I had anothe rmodel (the one before this) and ti worked better IMO

Yes, it fits all models because they all use the same receptacles.
You can buy it on the LazrArt web site.

Thanks Tim. Saw your video too. With 5 cats, you could definitely use a BAG-it in each of your boxes. I would also recommend more litter in each box.
Thank you, thank you very much. You have saved me so much money. I really appreciate your invention.
Ridge side goes down - less litter accumulates that way.
I wish this was still made :( I just bought a litter maid.
It is!

WOW that is a good idea!! :)
You'll still need to insert one more receptacle, but it should be the last one and you'll never need to take it out:-)
That's the idea, but with BAG-it, you don't need to remove the receptacle each time you need to throw out the grocery bag.
wow, cool, i will buy it... i hate the stupid plastic trays as they are impossible to insert with the newest model, agh

how do you change the whole box of litter?
Sounds like my story (just change the 3 cats to 5). That's why I invented it. You can buy one on ebay now - satisfaction guaranteed.

Is it a litter-mate 3.1? Or will it work with 3.2? Or is there a litter-mate 3.0?
