- Developed by Camelot, this newly built frame acts as the 9th-Generation version of the experimental Knightmare Lancelot, succeeding the Lancelot Conquista following it being crippled in the Second Battle of Tokyo. It has mobility and firepower rivaling the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements that was developed before it. Besides the Guren, the Albion was the series' only other 9th generation KMF. It was the strongest KMF of the Britannia led by Lelouch. A highly elegant machine, it inherits many elements of its predecessors, Lancelot and Lancelot Conquista.[1]Following Lelouch's ascendency to the Britannian throne and Suzaku's appointing as the Knight of Zero, the Albion became Suzaku's new personal unit and remained as such for the remainder of R2.

The fact that the blonde knight, Monica, that died had a crazy sad backstory and is a related to Lelouch is wild for a character that got less screen time and got speed blitz

Unlike the Energy Wings equipped on the Guren SEITEN- which can be used as Guren’s cloak; the Energy Wings on Lancelot ALBION not only grants it beyond impressive flight & evasion capabilities- but can utilize the Energy Wings as additional Frontal Bombardment Weapons by shooting numerous energy beam strikes from its energy wings

Code geas first aired on 2006, seed destiny first aired in 2004.
Strike freedom was made before code geas was even planned.
Also, shooting from the wings is something super robot shows like to do too, before this was made.

Like code geas is cool, but Gundam has been doing stuff like this for years before code geas was even thought of.
この時ルルーシュ側のまともな主戦力がスザクくらいしかいないから仕事多いし、その割にはちゃんと無双するんだよな
だからこそ際立つ「生きろ」ギアスを持ってしても互角どころか若干勝るレベルのカレン
一応ランスロットアルビオンよりは性能上だし紅蓮聖天八極式の方が
一方でランスロット側は雑魚だけでなく数々のネームド処理、フレイヤ弾の無力化等多くのタスクがありその分エナジーを消耗していたのに対し、紅蓮側はネームドだとCCぐらいで殆ど消耗が無い状態
にも関わらず紅蓮がほぼ引き分けでの辛勝であったのを踏まえれば、仮にどちらも万全の状態ならランスロット側が勝っていただろう
スザクがギアスパイロットで最強と言われるのも頷ける
最後の件知ってたら死んじゃいけない上に、死んだことを偽装しないといけないスザクの凄さが余計に目立つわ
むしろ生きろギアスだけでここまで機体倒して紅蓮とやり合って何なら殺す気がないからこその立ち回りで引き分けに持っていってるスザクはおかしいよ…
ここまでの連戦で多少の損傷とエネルギー消耗してるランスロットとパック交換とかはしてそうなスペックが上な紅蓮が相手なのと死の偽装しなきゃいけないのもあってお互い万全の状態ならスザクが勝ってそう

Does it remind anyone else of the monster Number 39:Utopia from Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal? Look it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about. Lancelot looks very similar. Seems like someone on the production staff (a character designer) of Zexal may have been a fan of Code Geass.

というか作中で唯一対抗馬扱いのカレンですらパイロット技術では劣ってるだろうし、故人含めてマリアンヌが互換ぐらいの最強のパイロットなんじゃないかな
I think this was the last anime Sunrise did before they started using CGI mecha.
Sunrise also did Kyoukai Senki, that's the last non CGI anime they did.

Cgi on mecha actually fits. There is more weight and impact compared to the animated counterpart

Sunrise has had a lot of recent shows that did not have CGI for the actual mechs and fights, like gundam IBO, gundam witch from mercury, G-Reco, all the gundam build fighter entries like I’m sure there’s more I can name but point is gundam 100% is typical not CGI for the actual fights and sunrise has alot of shows where they only use CGI in the background.
@@kite36 - Witch from Mercury used CGI. You just didn't notice as much because the technology has improved a lot in the last 10 years.

@@claresaprama499 are you talking bout Lancelot club. that doesn't have the spec of the original Lancelot KF but we know suzaku. he would be able to make that frame dance regardless of it being an inferior model performance wise.

Ever since i watch it. I have been questioning how Suzaku managed to escape the Albion before it exploded and there was no sign that the back opened up and he jumped out.

I do not understand how Suzaku beat the Knight of One's Geass.
He made a suicide attack, the Geass from the Knight of One will predict the trayectory but, because it's a suicidal move, Suzaku Live curse will activate at the last minute and change the movement in order to make him live, changing the prediction at the last possible second, giving him no time to react

i thought it was because suzaku was too fast for him he got overwhelmed like he did know what suzaku was going to do but it didn't matter cause he couldn't react in time

最後の戦いが一番顕著だけど全体的に紅蓮よりランスロットのほうが動き激しいし機動性は終始ランスロットのほうが上なんよね
まぁ紅蓮は輻射波動機構を組み込んだ歪な右腕あるからバランス面の問題からそうなったんだろうけど
機体本体の運動性はそうかも。ただ紅蓮のエナジーウィングは瞬間移動みたいな速さだから結局スピードも勝ててないし、武装の火力も違いすぎて、ギアスの呪い込みでもアルビオン力負けしてて悲しい😢
紅蓮は重量バランス悪いでしょうね。だからこそパイロット適性が限定されてたんでしょうけど。
ただ運動性はどうにも分が悪い以上、直線的な加速力を重視しているってのはあるかも。近接での一撃必殺が戦法の紅蓮に突破力は相性良いし
紅蓮は擬似ダークネスフィンガーみたいなものやれるし、アホみたいなバカ力がおかしいからなあ。
