The only one in US talkshows that has anything like him is Craig Ferguson imho He also has an incredible chemistry with his guests and thanks to his late late time slot, he was better able to cross some lines that most US Talkshows can't even skirt. But, yeah, he ain't american either ...

Then to add insult to injury they ploughed loads of money into his vapid successor James Corden, whose 'humour' relies on planned skits rather than his own wit, which is frankly negligible. Ferguson was brilliant. If he'd had the full backing of his network, as Corden does, his show would have been the best talk show in the States by a country mile. More fool them. Pity we lose out as a consequence. 🙁
(Oh, and it was amazing to see how censored the language on Craig's show was given the time of broadcast. But then nothing surprises me after seeing someone _spell_ a swear word on Jimmy Kimmel - another late night host - and the last letter was bleeped! Priorities, America; priorities.)
The Irish can insult or even threaten you in your face and still be funny about it and confuse you into wondering if you should be laughing or angry or afraid.

when I stumbled upon graham's show for the first time I was like "damn this is GOLD, how come I've never seen this before, how come isn't everybody watching this??" Haven't missed an episode since. Love him! He (and the crew) deserves this!
I can't recall one Friday night when I've turned the tv off or changed sides because it was a bit boring. Every week has had me in rolling with laughter even at times moved but always, always glued to the end (especially to see who's on the following week). As a talk show junkie I can say that there is no one like Graham and the best part is that he doesn't seem to know it!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

He makes movie promotions interesting, he makes everyone feel comfortable, he's extremely witty and funny and there's never a dull moment on his show. Graham Norton is arguably the best chat show today. I agree with Graham, though: he has the best team behind him, who is able to get the best combinations of guests. I am not a Tom Cruise fan but to get TC on the show only to have him like it so much that he was willing to share to couch with others says alot about Graham and his team.
I haven't been watching Graham quite 20 years but close to it and I'm a Yank. I was actually on his show way back when. Well, only my voice. Long story, no one cares. But I've loved Graham since I first laid eyes on him. He's truly a legend, an endless delight.

I'm an American and discovered Graham through the internet like most of the rest of us and was instantly in love. His energy, wit, and show control are on another level. He really seems to truly understand his guests and their personalities. Harrison Ford is notoriously one of the toughest interviews around because people just don't get him and his interviews always end up awkward and boring. Graham completely understood Harrison and wasn't intimidated by him, which many are. He ended up making Harrison Ford more at ease and engaged than I've ever seen him on TV. The format of having multiple people on helps as well of course. But it also adds extra challenges and if you really study what Graham does conversationally to keep things balanced and flowing properly it's pretty impressive.
He didn't know it was happening?? Definitely didn't know that his Mammy was interviewed from his reaction. So well deserved. Always tune in ever week, except it is usually because someone uploads the episode minus the clips of movies and music which I can live without. Couldn't have gone to a nicer guy.
Congratulations to Graham! I watch his show here in the Philippines (via RUclips) every week. It's like watching a gracious host entertain his guests at a party having some drinks and lots of fun!
