I’ve adored Stephen Fry for the last few years just so much. He’s helped me with my depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and coming to terms with my homosexuality by just speaking and being open about it.

I wonder how many people will have to tell him he's a fantastic human being until he himself believes it. Daniel is such an endearing fangirl when it comes to Stephen, love it. And then there's Hugh.. being Hugh :').
Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are literally my favorite people. There is very little I wouldn't give up to meet either of them
I have had at least 5 different dreams (that I can remember, so nevermind what I might've forgotten) where I'm over in the UK hanging out in a house with Stephen and Hugh, and I couldn't be more thankful for that. I mean, I'm an American, and wish to god already I could at least visit England, perhaps even live there, but then ALSO getting to be in the company of those two... just bliss.

Revering real people is somewhat of a fools errand, but Stephen, for me, comes near to being an idol. He shows us that people can be good in so many ways while still being people.

I think Stephen Fry will be one of the only "celebrities" (I use the term loosely because he's so much more than that) I'll cry over if he passes before I do.
Nobody could have represented Oscar Wilde better than him in a movie. He has the charisma, flamboyant, the looks, the elegance, the softness, the voice and pronunciaton needed. He is 100% brittish 🇬🇧, I adore him.

@@moremerry57 no it wasn't. Only a fully indoctrinated PC-er would think that. Most clear-thinking people acknowledged the yelling and screaming, and they would also have concluded that it was incredibly rude of the screaming people to make those noises!

he is a brilliant man, witty, talented,erudite, etc. but he did time in prison for credit card theft and snorted a lot of cocaine. which is an offence.
Stephen has many unique qualities and is greatly loved for his wholesome humanity - a “star” in every sense - we are so fortunate to have his talent to entertain and educate us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I miss Stephen Fry on QI.
Oddly enough, I first discovered Stephen in a short scene in the John Travolta movie, A Civil Action back in the late 80s. Something about how he did that one scene intrigued me. He was the reason why I got into British TV and movies entirely.

this is the #1 reason growing up in the US with OUR "TV" sucked! thank goodness for the PBS, internet and cable TV or we would never see genius like Stephen Frye and Monty Python or Fawlty Towers. All we get is sad Remakes of your shows "made American" LOL not worthy of naming. basically dumbed down. wish i was born British insted!
