SES Song of Starlight reporting in. After suffering a direct hit from automaton orbital defences, our Super Destroyer has been stranded in space for the past several months. All non-essential crew were put into cryo-stasis to preserve supplies, and repairs began immediately.
The extent of the damage was substantial, but thankfully, SEAF engineers have recently brought our comms array back online and report that FTL capabilities will be restored shortly. We look forward to returning to the front and are grateful for the Defender of Freedom's diligent efforts to apprise us of the current state of the war.
Uh... how do I say it? A new ship designated Song of Starlight has been sent to battle from the conveour lines in times of your ship missing... So yeah, I guess we are ship-buddies now?

SES Hammer of Justice reporting! Glad to see you're still doing well! The Impalers have returned, and it seems "The Gloom" has affected some of the chargers, covering them with those foggy spores. Be careful around them.
Also, adapting to the new change received. Budget cuts to the Incendiary Breaker's magazines and Flamethrowers can no longer burn through Charger legs. You can still burn chargers quickly, but only if you focus on their butts. Grenade Pistols sacrificed ammo capacity for greater resupply, making the supply pack all the more valuable for it. Slugger bullets can now stagger enemies more reliably once again. Additionally, training has taught our Helldivers how to wield the Exploding Crossbow with only one hand for greater efficiency.
I've also scouted nests of a grander scale than ever before, officially labelled as "Mega Nests". On the Automaton front, I've witnessed their new "fortresses" they have built. I'm bringing some old friends along to take down these new fortifications in hopefully a couple days. Hammer of Justice, over and out!

This is the last remaining survivor of the SES Force of Super Earth. I am manually piloting the ship through an override.
Our warp lanes were cut off by the automatons from an earlier attack. We were part of the vanguard. After attempting to survive off of EVA expeditions at the remains of our fleet, we couldn’t get the sensors to calibrate after the ship went into back up power. Fortunately, I used a hack that my sister taught me- if I reversed the Super Phone’s signal, I could make it become a cheaper interstellar receiver.
With any luck, I could find a Helldiver pod with a Helldiver within for assistance in my next EVA.

SES Courier of Independence here, our Super Destroyer has been upgraded with the new Gundarium Alloy to to counter the bot orbital cannon, our destroyer been struck by their cannon multiple time but the new alloy has proven to be effective as they barely even scratch our ship, now we are ready to face whatever the Gloom has for us
URGENT REPORT: Traitorous Helldivers have been hunting down their own, and some have even convinced the crew of entire Super Destroyers to go turn coat. They still use friendly IFF signatures, so it will be close to impossible to distinguish friend and foe until they act. Keep an eye out there, Helldivers.

honestly, this is the only bit of helldivers I'm left with, the reddit's a civil war between two echo chambers, the game is honestly just frustrating and I guess I've already got my money's worth.
The devs really killed my interest to actually play the game, it's clear they didn't care about staying politically neutral. So much for this game being a bastion for gamers.

SES Elected Representative of Judgement here, after the ship's cryopod system malfunctioned (clearly due to the acts of some villainous hater of democracy) we couldn't deploy any helldivers, so we had to take a break while repairs were underway, but we are near finishing luckily, and we will be back on the front as fast as we can. Despite our crew and previous divers having more experience fighting on the bug front, I might have to jump to the west and protect Super Earth if the Automatons get too close.

The SEAF is holding so far with support from available Helldiver platoons, but any reinforcements to drive the mechanical menace out from our space is always appreciated. Tell your Helldivers to get advice from veterans of the Automaton Front as the effective tactics against them are far different from the Bugs. However, you may take solace in the fact that once you've identified the weaknesses of each automaton enemy, you WILL dismantle and neutralize them far quicker than any of the beefy enemies on the bug front. Knowing is half the battle on this side of the galaxy, and if we see you operating within our area we would be happy to provide any assistance we can to get your crew up to speed on anti-robot strategies.

Our crew has been thoroughly impressed by the close victories of our major orders, however wants to make clear that they had nothing to do with counterfeit samples.
We enjoy this high note, but our general helldiver has a gut feeling that things are about to get worse.
Furthermore we are still looking for a convenient way to battle the bugs, right now only a trusty blitzer seems to work as a bug zapper ⚡️.

It works well against generic cheat engines and trainers, the type troglodyte children download from sus as fuck websites and compromise their parents' computers, but genuine hacked clients can easily get by. It's why hackers still exist and can do sample cheats, among others.

Unfortunately a narrow loss is expected on Pandion due to the distraction of Crimsica which is scheduled to happen a few hours later. The late shift wasn't enough to overcome the decay rate.
Focus on keeping the planets will be paramount given the reduced number of Helldivers after the latest sabotage of arms manufacturing facilities have impacted Helldiver armories. Further sabotage of Hellpod launching mechanisms following yet ANOTHER cyberattack and a DDOS to monitoring software further reduced Helldiver numbers.
While the cyberattacks have been dealt with according to High Command, the arms factories are still reporting subpar weapon construction. A bad batch of flame accelerant in particular is outgoing despite the factories in question reporting no issues in production.
Likely once Crimisca is no longer a distraction, the reclamation of Pandion will go smoother.

It's sad he didn't make a joke about Crimsica almost hitting liberation. I was there and got so upset that we were so close and then lost it again and again.
Indeed the Crimsica story is a funny one. Maybe I'll think of something next time to recap it.
So here’s the problem:
Many players are really upset due to constant weapon nerfs. To protest, player count has vastly dropped. While I’m not protesting, I have stopped playing HD2 for a while now. It’s sadly not fun anymore. The devs are making a classic DnD Dungeon Master mistake: DM vs player, or in this case: Dev vs player. They really need to find that sweet spot they had when the game started. Good weapons that killed the enemy while making a challenging but fun time. The major issue was the Devs trying to nerf the meta instead of evolving to the meta.
Legit, they need to quickly realize that DM'ing *IS* fun, but especially so when you sculpt your scenarios and worlds to be fun for both you and your players.

This is the SES Lady of Dawn, we've nearly finished requistioning armor from the Super Store, and as a result we've decided to temporarily return to SE territories to let other Super Destroyers obtain samples and totally not because we're tired of fighting. We'll be back on the front if anything notable happens on the front that requires all hands on deck. For now however, we choose to freeze our operations and divers, and monitor SE held territories for any attacks on the bot front. SES Lady of Dawn, signing out.
i think is really fun how they took even an hacker attack with the samples as canon and that actully had negative impact on the lore as now we have tons of fake samples

Genuinely, Out Of Character and the whole dumb ass RP the Reddit's doing, this ought to have served as a wake-up call to Arrowhead that the anticheat doesn't fucking work, they oughta turn on reporting again and start releasing either weekly or monthly reports on how many people have been banned, if they even have that ability...

Presenting a hypothesis - The Gloom may be a galaxy-wide equvalent of the pheremone response which precedes a bug breaching attack. The longer we fight, the harder the bugs hit us back.
Additionally, the planets currently engulfed by the Gloom are ones which seemingly have not been pruned back or directly engaged in any way since the war began. It is possible the planets in these sectors have undergone a transformation into a Meridia-type supercolony.
In both cases the optimum strategy would be to enact a galaxy-wide equivalent of the localization confusion stratagem.
With that in mind, our command Helldivers have begun taking it in turn to draft a formal request to High Command that the ERoIM be allowed to join the next reconnaisance assault into the gloom. However, as the average survival rate of our Helldivers is currently 6 minutes, editing a completed second draft for transmission has been slow going.
