You Rakesh sir have always been guiding students to the right path you did when you were a teacher backthen & now through this GT Plus content.
This dialogue "The degree's name is going in mud" just because some businesses just wanted to flow in this trend. As a student I can see what will be the mentality of a student who did want to opt for those courses. All these things are bad for the upcoming generation.

The matter of fact is that overhyped things won't work for long . The reason I love Gyan therapy is that he is grounded and not overhyped
That was actually a valid point and this is exactly I think as well. Don't mislead youth/people with respect to the degree you have got and opening a franchise on those names. Also, be smart and logical while paying for those huge franchises fees and take the grounded path as Gyan mentioned with tea example!

I think it's a very relevant topic in our country today and i appreciate you for speaking up about it.
I think parents should be made aware of all this. Personally I'm seeing a lot of parents literally letting go of their kids with smartphones . They have no clue what kids are doing with the internet they have access to.
Just for the sake of some quiet time, they give away their phones to kids . And these same parents will later penalise their kids for using phones .
Kids have literally stopped playing outdoors!
I mean a late 80s kid, hum bhi bade hue hain, i look back and I feel blessed that our parents brought us up the most organic way.
I'm in no way undermining the capabilities of parents now, in just saying that our childhood was not exposed to the internet era/social media. The parents in this day and age need to be more cautious and pre-planned.
Totally agree with your point of these things on student ’s mindset. In fact I have seen most children scrolling reels and shorts which indirectly affects their thinking at very initial age of their life. Instead of having offline fun with friends and doing some innovative and creative activities, these reels and shorts culture is definitely destroying many potential people. This is not just limited to children, same is true for youths and adults but at least they know when to stop wasting their time.

I am an AI/ML engineer. Having cleared my BTech with a lot of hardship & support from my family, my partner & my professors, I can definitely attest to the fact that such people clearly ruin the honor our BTech degree (or any degree for that matter) awards us with.
P. S.: The difficulties I mentioned were not because of my grades, the studies, submissions, relationship or placements, etc. It was related to depression & anxiety..

True .....my friend always shares me reels on why businesses are better than jobs. They say that "we don't like working under another person"........and I am also pursuing btech from the ai/ml branch currently in 4th sem 🙂.
These people don't know how the btech was if they selected the right branch like cs do coding then you will get a job not by getting high grades and the person doesn't get placement and had marks that ruins the name of btech

The core issue starts from students forced into btech and MBA degrees by their parents/ relatives etc or brainwashed about certain degrees that if you do it you will definitely get a job,everyone forgets about the thing that degree doesn't get you a job,it's the study,preparation and also practical knowledge to some extent that gets you a job.Secondly,the student should have the aptitude to opt for certain course,every degree is equally important and every child has a different aptitude, it's high time we spread this word.All we do is force and then the students become disinterested and eventually just get a degree for the sake of passing not to gain knowledge.Thank you for addressing this.

I just completed my 12th and I can see how students are vulnerable to these things especially those in a confusion about there career. Even though my friends(including myself) are old now compared to a 5th grade student but still we are still somewhat getting influential to these things eventhough we know what the reality is. It just gives a somewhat negative idea in some corner of the brain. I was not aware about these things happening on social media. Thank you for making me informed about them.

This is the biggest myth which these people are creating and conveying. These degrees are earned. Its demotivating for the people who is doing hard work for it. A scientist, a engineer, a doctor, a teacher all have these degrees they don't have anything special. And the saddest part is that many people support or follow these types of things. Hello Rakeshji, I like your point of view about the value of a degree. additionally, many students are genuinely putting effort into getting the degree. but after that, they aren't getting any respect for earning that degree.

We have seen graduate vadapav at byculla mumbai before mba chaiwala trend and they were actual graduates. They have used this kind of name because of there was no vacancies at that time and they have to protest against system
Bilkul sahi baat hai, jo education leave karke bhi successful hone ko glorify kiya ja raha hai, actually woh successful log 2-3% hi hote hain, par baaki dropouts wagerah jinki life easy nahi jaati, unki baat koi nahi karta.

But phir realize kiya ki agar aise examples 10% hain toh baaki ke 90% log apni apni degree karke unke respective fields me established hain !!

First of all, good job appreciate your work on both the channels. I usually agree with most of your views, but this one is an exception. Especially looking at the current job market, i don't think it's a bad decision to start your own business, any business for that matter and you should take pride in that. And I don't think it conveys the wrong message to upcoming generation if they have have proper guidance ofcourse, and rather they should be encouraged to become entrepreneurs and grow with the nation.
