I've suffered with my shoulders for years especially my left I get a lot of neck aches. While I do these exercises the down and forward motion my shoulder sounds gritty and as if it's ripping I have a lot of weakness there too, I'm hoping that this will help over the next few months and strengthen the area, thanks

This is actually helping. I felt pain above the rhomboid. But I don't understand how can something like a strengthening exercise help decrease the pain somewhere else??? Can you explain it?

Because one part of your body can be tight or weak and that is affecting the part that is hurting

After performing this exercise I cannot lift my arm.... now I have to get MRI and seek doctor's help.

You can not tell, after doing this exercise that happened. You may be had a serious injury before
