There is one more question I want to ask, because I didn't found a single post on the internet that talks about it, so maybe you know. Is there a difference between the health of a wood piece or a metal piece. What I mean is, what is more difficult to destroy, wood or metal? or they are both the same?
X2991702217918082 Metal structures take twice as much C4 to penetrate as wood. So metal is worth it because it doubles the requirement needed for raiding. I'll take a look at doing an info graphic or something on our website with all our other guides at www.rusthelper.com

Not sure if it's already been said. But just to make people aware, a wood version of this base would not be very effective, as you can just blow the doorways for the same cost as the door, and that bypasses the door cooldowns.
In regards to the barricade trick - I'd think you'd want a disclaimer that this build should be a minimum 3 levels high. As with a 2 level base, doors 2 and 3 can be bypassed with a large storage box and barricade - only using 6 C4's to blow the first and last doors no?
I can make that jump using wood and having the doorway on the right
How do you get down? lol, you can only oppen the doors away from you
if you do this in wood i will need a couple of planks and 2 C4 to get all the stuff
Is your mouse sensitivity super low? It sounds like you're swiping your mouse half way across a desk just to turn several feet.
And... how do you get down? I just wasted tons of metal building this only to come here with that very question and see that it is never addressed.
At the time I created this, you are correct, I did not realize this one issue. I however address it in some later videos by showing some modified designs. This video if anything is proof of concept of how to take advantage of game mechanics in such a way to give yourself an edge on raiders. I hope to do a video specifically focusing on modifications to the 3x1 to address this one issue and will link to it in an annotation when I am able to do so.

eric280197 You can, if the doors are still open. The questions comes from the fact that when you close them on the way up, you are no long able to do this. If the doors are still open, then you can go back down by jumping on top.
