Agree! I just wonder why we never see how accurate the estimated trajectory forecast was vs. the actual track. ie how truly confident are they in their forecasts? Since nothing can be done to protect ourselves I wonder if they purposely keep it low key to not create chaos and major fear ahead of the passing.

Wow closer to us than our moon! 180k miles away vs. moon is~ 245k away! That is no joke and these estimates are never accurate because we never see the results of the estimates vs. what the actual track of the NEO was in reality.
Can we see it via telescope or the naked eye?
