He is right, Carl is one of the fewest djs out there not using drugs. He is a total nerd, his only drug is music
he's killing it on 3 decks with some complex tracks. he does a full 360 mix: at 1:32 he brings in the new 3rd deck, drops out the big trance riff on deck 2, only to bring the trance riff back in again at 1:50. that's how you mess with people. plus he's cutting it up like techno. unbelievable. it shows you how this style can be played with real creativity. Sasha was like this

@@auxreves4957 Sasha was a really great dj back in the 90’s, he was very smooth and genius with his transitions and mixes. He was a badass. I guess he’s still good today, but not the same. I recommend checking out Global Underground 009: Sasha live in San Francisco, or global underground 013: Sasha live in Ibiza.

This is rare and insane! Spinning vinyl old school on 3 freaking decks?! Absolutely insane and legendary, considering the blending of complex sounds and knobs tuned live on, like fxxk! He's a legend!! Carl Cox is and will forever be the Legendary Techno King in my heart! He's absolutely the beast, untouchable! Second comes Enrico Sangiuliano for me, they both are something else and otherworldly when it comes to clever play, creative mix of sounds and beats! Both are very good producers in my opinion! 🔥❤

I am 42 now, I've spent sometime in Goa 10-15 years ago and I've been organizing parties and concerts in Greece since the late 90s. I am part of an anarchist collective that throws free parties, and always against bringing commercial music and money oriented logic into our gigs. So for me trance and psychedelia more generally is not about money, but about social and individual change.My disagreement with you was that the actual tracks were commercial, as you said, which didn't make any sense because the guy was not mixing madonna. So you wouldn't call it "commercial". I agree with you that a lot of shit out there is commercial nowadays and that a lot of activity is about money. This is why we should all promote ideas and practices that run contrary to that and educate younger people that are becoming like zombies with smart phones. Happy New Year mate!!
