@@extraBash You still need to tension the belt, and there is no way to do it on this frame. So you either need to find unicorn gear, or use some kind of chain tensioner that fits belt gears.
Hi there, believe it or not, i actually own the same e-Stay MTB in a kind of (lets say) prurple with the same pink lines like yours in the vid. :-) I baught it from an Austrian guy and I own it now for about 20 years. It is in good condition, but didn`t found any hint so far who produced the bike. Sadly enough, the milazo sign is off, because the bike was sold in a bike custom shop in Vienna/Austria under its "own brand" so to speak. The shop obviuousely replaces the milazo sign with the shops one, which is just an "H". The shop went bankrupt, no information anymore available. So thank you for this video. If you would like to see some pics, i will be happy to share.
I have Cato made in Germany from 90s, this bearings in headtube doesn't get made anymore. So mine was bad, had make some diameter spacers to transition to more common 34 mm stem shinanigans, from 37mm to 34mm.
Milazo are technically still around, but they exist primarily as a sticker on [The] Warehouse bikes. Milazo certainly made some mid-range bikes back in the late 80's and early 90's, but once The Warehouse got hold of the brand it was downhill from there on in.
love the videos, like seeing the older bikes brought back to like in some kind of way. Can you do a MTB conversion to big tire BMX that would be great lol
Yoooo! I have the same derailliur ! I want to know how good is working with 9 speed cassette. Also I want to know the range of that cassette! I love this build.
Hello. Thanks for your video. It is very inspiring. 1. Can you please tell me if the chain ring narrow wide will work with the chain 8 speed. Do you have any experience? ok. I know that the chain will sit on this chain ring NW but will the narrow wide hold it on this chain ring (8 speed is wider than 9)? 2. You can use a plastik pipe from spray bottle to lead cable in the frame. 3. I am not a fun to convert cantilever sustem to V-break - the frame has wider offset of pivots. By the way we can notice it in your video - V-break arms are not parallel to each other.
Hey! Thanks for watching! 1. I haven’t personally used it on a 8s so I can’t say for sure but I don’t see how it wouldn’t work. Some chainring do state what speed they are designed for. 2. That’s an awesome idea, I didn’t even think of that, thanks! 3. That’s fair enough! What do you mean by wider offset of pivots? I may not have shown the clip but I did adjust the v-brakes so they are even👍
@@waveywheelies I wanted so say that the distance between pivot of brake to the center line of bike/wheel is bigger in cantilever than in v-brake (sorry for my english)
Something cool about these frames is that they can be used with belt drives!
You would still have to cut them
@@raftopoua why?

got it@@ohklahoma5756
@@ohklahoma5756so. You'd basically need an elevated chain stay fixie frame which isn't a thing.
love the tie down trick on the handle bar grips 😀
Always happy to catch the latest WW video. It is so funny to see those old splatter paint jobs come back into retro-fashion. Very cool frame!
Real smart build excellent colours/detail keep them coming..
I love your vids and certainly motivational for some of us who have 1/2 complete bike build lying around.

That 90s paint...👌.
Nice old school frame. Great build
Cheers!!
This build is so sick!!! It turned out so well!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it🙌
You can split apart som gear hose and use the inner sleeve for the guides.
Beautiful build
Woww...amazing frame! Love it
Very nice build!
Thanks man!🙌
Great job my man what a cool build glad to see a new video!!
Thanks man! Im stoked that you like it and thanks for the support, it means a lot🙌
You can take the center sleeve outta the Old v brake noodle for those above crank bends!
Ooh that’s a good one, didn’t think of that! I have some old noodles kicking around too. Thanks for that!
looks so funky!!
Much much better than the Milazo we know today lol
Yeah so true, it’s such a shame aye..
Love the servo waves! My favorite v brake levers
They are actually quite nice! I wasn’t sure how they would feel but I actually really like them!
super nice build! that frame is lit 🔥

More retro MTB please!!!
This is amazing dude! We want more!! 😄😄😄
Love the build and chainstays, don't love how the cable routing for the rear mech sits in those guides but meh still cool!
can’t wait for the mash reyes complete build!

I’d love a frame like that for a belt drive install.
Great idea, I hadn’t thought of that!
solid build in every content videos always watching from Philippines⚡🏆

Sick one!!
for the cable guides you can use Teflon tubes (from a 3d printer )
great build :)
Thanks! I’ll have to check those out🙌
This video is amazing …….
It would just be me but I would still try and look to fashion some brake housings on guides for the shifter, that's worrying to snap at any time. :(
sick
If you come by any vbrake angle tube things they often have plastic inserts for the same reason as the weird routing things on this bike
Need you some goo-gone for that sticker residue
Now that sounds like a product I need, I’ll have to look it up, thanks!
the rims are so narrow that the tire brand logos look funny
You're so cool!

Is there a reason for using oil instead of lithium grease in the cable hoses?
Is it only me or does this frame set scream for a belt drive ???
Oh dude! I didn’t even think of that, that’s an awesome idea. I’ll keep that in mind!

Zip ties goes turtles brain ,can reuse
is there a place to get that nitto adapter i've got an old mtb with a 1 1/4 inch headset and i've basically given up on finding an adapter
turns out they're easy to find and i didn't look hard enough
what do you use to lubricate the inner cabes?
What i sound like after seeing this build 20:35
I'm finishing out my build. Im having trouble deciding on tubes. Anyone have suggestions?
Wich Grease do you use?
what grease do u use?
what is that brake lever? looks so industrial. Anyone pls tell me
Search up “Shimano Servo-Wave” and it should come up with them! I think there’s a few different models
🤤🤤🤤
Is the fork upgradable to a modern threadless fork?
You could if you can find a steerer tube that'll fit the odd headtube diameter
@Possibly yeah either that or find a headset adapter from 1 1/4 to 1 1/8 so you can use a 1 1/8 fork. Not sure if they exist though?
@@waveywheelies yeah guess so, dope build tho
can u use dropbar on that?
Yeah for sure, you’d probably want some sti Levers/shifters though
Is it for sale?
Not at the moment sorry! If you’re after anything else in particular send me a message on Instagram and I’ll see what I can do👍
i didn't think you had to ever actually "install" tires... what happened to your "throw the tires at the wheels" magic trick....? 😆😆
NEVER clamp a bike by the frame!!!

Lighter fluid works well for sticker residue 👍
