I dont get the fanbase sometimes, how many years have we reminisced about being cheap and letting Shaq walk. We need to show these guys we want him here and we respect his role. If he doesnt prove his that kind of player over the next 5 years the next extension isnt max but you can't be mad and keeping Franz here

I don’t care if it’s Franz or Fraggle Rock; NOBODY who hasn’t made an All Star team nor been selected as an All NBA player should even be eligible for an extension. Love it or not, the true superstars + increased media money help the “middle class”‘level players get paid… that’s why the second apron is in place. So what do we use to justify Franz making $45M per year? Hope?😂

Franz got it that high because of the Toronto raptors and what they did with Scottie Barnes extension. I don't think they max him if Barnes didn't get his max, the FO was left with no choice but to do that number if they value him as a franchise piece which clearly they do
