Ur truck was doin' some very impressive lines, my fav is at 7:40. Thanks! Now I know what to do to mine right when I get it. Just got a set of Injora weighted wheels that'll be perfect!
I’ve been doing the screw trick since the first power wagon, but never had shaved the diff cover before. The shock spring removal was a huge upgrade for this one
I've ordered mine the day it's been released. Can't wait...😋 It looks like bumpers are a big issue. Maybe it'd be better to take them off. What about adding more brass weights on the wheel level ? On mine, i'll design & 3D print an entire roll cage to protect the whole hard body and get an extreme off road look.
I have the "original" FMS Toyota LC80 that i absolutely love but have wanted to upgrade. I know it sounds nuts but I almost want to buy a couple of these and see if I can keep my original LC80 body with interior but swap out the chasis components. Same with the Hilux, I love the body but would love to get an FCX 18 as a "donor".
If you get 1.0” wheels they should almost all fit it. There are tons of options. Most 1.0” tires will fit also, but anything over 62mm diameter may rub
this is how the hobby plus evo's should have been but didn't do. but, its good fms did a crawler that parts from the 24th should fit on these too it seems
Just looking at the videos of this little cool car my first thought was ... those springs are way too strong for this car. I would probably still want to have some springs in there, but definitely weaker than the original ones.
They are all said in the first 1:15 of the video. Removed shock springs, added brass wheels, added RC4wd tires, shaved the diff cover to get more steering throw, changed the screws on the axles from the front of the axle to the rear of the axle so the knuckles don’t hit them when turning.
Awesome demo vidoe of the scramblers and brass wheels! Removing the springs is a great idea and it does shows more flex! Thanks for this video man!
Wow, I never even considered to try no springs just oil on my tiny rigs….. Great Run footage!! Thanks
The 80 series body really does look good! The FCX platform is well thought out. I might have to trade in my Trx4m Bronco for this truck!

Ordered mine yesterday it’ll be my second hobby grade rc
Mines waiting at home. Got delivered while I'm at work😢 can not wait to check this truck out!
That steering trick was done back when the fcx24 power wagon first came out. Same axles. Works very well.

That’s like two different trucks 😮 great upgrades 👍
Totally Lyle! Handles so much better now

nice performance with minimal changes! great to see
Howdy. New subscriber. I just bought one of these.
I just ordered the iron man edition I’m super excited it has a few more mods on it but these tips should still apply

Awesome Tony, yeah I’ve been eyeballing this rig I like the silver one. Looking good out there 🤙🤙😎
Great video, could you tell me what size tires to use?
Very impressive bro. I gotta get one now.
Great mod removing the springs, I've got superswampers on so I'll need to trim but so much more capable
Any opinions on ovedriveing the front?
Awesome bro I may have to get one to try out
I like your camera angles. How and where is your camera setup?
Thnx man, now i need a fcx18 too
Is that the front windshield protection still on! Haha Tony, just don't want to scratch that beauty! Love that color scheme on this.
Great video man!!
Looks way better 💯
Waaaaayyyy better. Actually drivable on my course now
Looks soooo much better...big gains also.. little 💰
Exactly! Big gains. Had me so excited. I expected it to be better, but not this much better
@@CCxRC I think everyone will definitely be shocked
Really hope they put the 1983 Hilux body on this chassis. The one that is used now (as well as the K10) is complete garbage.
Are you calling the Land Cruiser garbage? 😭
@@a.j.likescars9290 no the 1983 hilux is garbage. I got sucked into buying that POS.
@@goldenmanuever1176I’m turning mine into a loLux drifter😈
What size are the scramblers question Amazon is out? Is there any other place to get them?
What size Scramblers and wheels please.
which offset do the rims have???
Damnit I want one now.
What size tires are thoes? Tia
I have a stock lc80 first rig ever, beginner to the hobby.
Are these about 60x24? Will they fit my setup if it's stock after I get wheels?

@@CCxRC I went ahead and sent it I’ll get them in the mail tomorrow. How do you remove the spring from the shock?
Awesome❤

The 1.0” wheel ones.

I’ve always heard no hand of God, but I have never heard of no foot of God 😁😁
Haha. Worked pretty well
4 tricks? Where? What? It would be better if the tricks were shown, listed, and at least, demonstrated what was really done.

Or, hear me out. You could build a real truck and go overlanding....
That’s a great idea too
