The Forma Hyper Shoes are high-top shoes designed for the riders who need something that works well on their bike and looks good on the streets. The Forma Hyper Shoes provide a stylish frame without forgoing protection. With a breathable Drytex lining that makes the shoe waterproof, along with reinforced heel and toe protection, the Hyper shoes are going to look good and keep your feet safer than a standard pair of sneakers.
I like the black sole. Never was a fan of the contrast white sole everyone else seems to be making, especially the distressed white TCX shoes have.
Just bought the Forma Genesis for my son. Seem to be a good contender to TXC, A-Star, etc for a reasonable price. My son chose them for their hi-viz design, but offered in a variety of colors. I normally go with brands I’m more familiar with, but the reviews have been consistently solid for several years, and a good sign that Revzilla carries their products. - I’ll do my best to remember to post a long-term review follow up edit after my son has used them for a while.

40 would be a good place to start for the best size.

Though more expensive, the Forma Hyper Shoes have more ankle coverage as well as a size zipper for putting them on more easily. -DrewZilla

Which is a more solid shoe, Dainese Street Darker Gore-Tex or Forma Hyper or Bates Marauder?
I'd say the Street Darker Gore-Tex, especially since the Gore-Tex waterproof membrane is guaranteed waterproof for the life of the shoes. -DrewZilla

I'd go with the Forma Hyper Shoes, just because they're a bit taller. That will help to keep rain out. -DrewZilla

The Hyper Shoes are slightly taller and just have a different look, but functionally they are waterproof and very similar. -DrewZilla
