@@sternumboy1this is something people don’t understand, they still have the base model, and they have fully loaded versions like this. Along with many upgrades since the 80s, it’s a much better vehicle, inflation is a big factor in those price differences, as well as more and better technology. People saying 40-50k is a lot for a new truck but don’t say anything about paying 30k for a compact sedan. Inflation goes up, prices go up. Thats just how it works. I bought a 2015 mustang gt premium new in 2015, it was 40k, it’s right about 53k now with inflation only, nobody complained about that price 9 years ago. Now the same mustang is going for 55-60k with more technology too, they’re also complaining about that price being too high now as well. People don’t understand basic economics.

This is a 35k vehicle, who the hell is paying for these things??? Id love to blame the manufacturer but they’re only arriving at these price points because people have been paying as prices climbed. Stop people! Just stop and learn some financial literacy for heavens sake. I remember wanting to slap every idiot who paid 70k for broncos when they first dropped, they were literally screwing the rest of us normal folks by sending false signals to ford that idiots were willing to pay 70 grand for a 30 grand bronco. I guess everyone thinks they can afford a 60-90k truck now that you can get a 50 million year loan. No one knows how to save their money and be patient for a few years, smart phones must be melting our brains so we have no impulse control anymore. If you buy this, im sorry you’re an idiot, there is no excuse, and you’re ruining it for the rest of us.

Also the best deal from jeep. I think jeeps are kinda crap theyre just useful in terms of utility. You can drive them over a rock unlike in a civic. But to me theyre junk. So you pay a lot just to have it wear out and not in. They want you to buy another one later when theyll cost even more. So i think you gey the 2 door and its the most useful one if you dont have people to haul around. Its the smallest one. You pay for less parts. Less parts to break. You only buy half the doors. Less windows less door locks. That stuff adds up if youre just trying to go exploring alone or with one other person. But it still costs a pretty penny. Considering its a stellantis fiat product. Thats kinda scary to me.

They have a lot of tradeoffs in every other way, they are not at all practical, they are terrible for any long distance, but they sure are tons of fun for what they are intended, like what every kid thinks driving a truck is like.
