Thank you cause I didn’t wanna take that whole fuckin tank off 😂💀
Facts my old bike was a zx7 you could access the entire battery by simply removing seat and that was it. Just bought a 05 zx6r and between my crazy work schedule and bike being in storage I haven't even jumped my bike cause I know it's a bunch or bullshit involved
What's that hexagonal thingy behind the battery that's being held down by a "7" bolt called? Is it the ECU? I know my battery is good and theres fuel in the tank and all the cables should be connected as far as I know except for that one part that's not on my bike right now. I need to put it back together and I know I can, but I just don't know what it's called...
Is it hard to remove the positive from that angle or can you pull the battery out a bit to get at it easier?
Just tried this after watching this video... Probably a better idea just to take the tank off. No way to use a screwdriver to take off positive terminal this way. You could use a wrench (or needle nose pliers like I did) but good luck putting it back in after...
I'll be taking my whole tank off to put my new battery back in once It comes in. (Which is very simple to do). Probably only adds 15 min.
