  • Another LMS Jubilee made a first time venture to the West Country, that being 45690 Leander. The locomotive hauled the Royal Duchy running from Taunton to Plymouth and back. As with Bahamas the weather turned to be a warm welcome for Leander. The Jubilee is first seen sounding in fine form roaring up Dainton Bank, with another brief clip of her flying up Rattery Bank in fine three cylinder sound. The return working sees Leander tackle the very steep Hemerdon Bank, seen at two different angles.
Its amazing to think that in a space of four weeks, two LMS Jubilees make their first ever journeys over the Devon Banks. Something that has been very impressive for mainline steam in 2021.
