Thank you very much for your kind words and yes they certainly were! Castles are my favourite, they made an absolute racket at Tigley lol. Regards, Dan
Another passenger, in Coach B! An epic trip, but that last panning shot made my hackles rise! Fantastic memories, thanks for posting some wonderful captures.
Darn and blast ! How on earth did l miss this ! I live in Teignmouth ! And the Castle class was always my favourite . I remember gazing over the bridge at Newton Abbot and watching the crew polishing the brass on these beautiful locomotives ! ❤
Very cool, thank you very much! What a shame you missed it, hopefully VT will run a few more tours down in the South West you will be able to see. Regards, Dan
I was on board that train, I was sitting in coach H, the 3rd one from the Loco’s, great trip, one day I want to be lineside, it must be quite a sight (and sound) watching it go past 😎
That's fantastic, it must have been quite a sound for you then! It certainly is good being lineside, but I do like to be on board sometimes. Regards, Dan
Cheers mate, absolutely same to you even if I was on the floor of a crowded Vomiter lol! Thank you for the comment and i'm glad you enjoyed! Regards, Dan
Brilliant and impressive !!!! .... a joint edit production with the various location footage from your colleagues would be worth the effort. Thanks for posting!
Great video, nice to see what it looked like from the lineside, it was a great trip all round, I was in coach G, so not far from the front on the return leg.
Great video mate, I was near Whiteball and then Tiverton Parkway Station for return but I did find a cracking foot crossing near to there on my walk to Tiverton Parkway but was worried it might get dark before they came but wished I'd stayed there now though instead tbf as it would of been amazing with the views both ways
Cheers Andy, glad you were out to see it and that you enjoyed it! I think I know the foot crossing you refer to, I must go back there some day lol, Regards, Dan
Ideally, a train to get you ahead of the steam railtour would have been better. But remember the days are getting shorter, Autumn is upon us. A Sunset & Steam shot is always atmospheric, the one you got beats everything else. Steam at Night is just as magical. If your secondary planner is busy, time you learned to plan everything out for yourself. Just as I learned to organise a Disneyland, Paris holiday by myself. Next time you have a date with capturing a steam railtour on the run, challenge yourself to plan everything without help from anyone. I'm sure you'll have fun working things out by yourself.
Good video, but when I turned the volume up to full at 2:35 my ears burst and bled with all the noise from the poor quality of your microphone, I may be permanently deaf now...
Wow,wow and thrice wow, them two were rocking and rolling!,And nothing barks like a castle or two
Thank you very much for your kind words and yes they certainly were! Castles are my favourite, they made an absolute racket at Tigley lol. Regards, Dan
Super! A great mixture of shots. Thank you.

Two Castles to do the work of one Bulleid.
👎
Haha I'm afraid I'm not a massive fan of bulleids compared to Castles lol! Regards, Dan
Good video, but when I turned the volume up to full at 2:35 my ears burst and bled with all the noise from the poor quality of your microphone, I may be permanently deaf now...
Truth be told I don't have a microphone lol! Hopefully your ears feel better very soon. Regards, Dan
