- The Gilbert Police Department released a new statement Thursday addressing an alleged group ABC15 has been asking about for months. Gilbert Police said they recently became aware of the term "Gilbert Goons" through social media references.
The Gilbert chief needs to talk to the news and not hide from this
The Gilbert Police sound like either idiots or motivated to NOT solve these cases involving the Gilbert Goons.
I used to be a cop at Gilbert, this death is completely on them. They don’t take crimes like assault and juveniles seriously, and they hardly ever go after juveniles. When a street cop wants to get Justice for public safety, he is more or less told to stand down by his superiors, especially the lieutenants And above. It is so sad, but Gilbert police chief, and a lot of command staff are so corrupt

It’s true. My daughter works at a urgent care in Gilbert and a 14 y/o boy came in last week because he was skateboarding with friends in his neighborhood when he was jumped by a group of guys in a car. They kicked his head and face.

Kids in Preston’s friend group said that it was the guys from the “Gilbert goons” who started to fight them for no reason so they split up and then Preston was found dead. So yeah it was that group that did it.
