Love that you actually packed the bag to the brim to show the capacity! Some reviewers just put a phone, notebook, and their keys and they’re like “wow this fits a lot!” Lol
Yes!! Aha it surprisingly is quite spacious. Anymore I carry a mini nalgene bottle in it which is for flavored sport drinks etc.. my keys, a handful of camera batteries, and more electronics. It's awesome! Thanks so much for watching the video!
The Thrupack summit bum is a little bigger (2.5L) and can be attached the same way but you can also choose between many custom colors and pocket options for $54.99.
I've also used it for travel and it works so well! You can really keep your things handy by using it. Thanks so much for the comments and for watching Enrique!
Thanks for the comment and for the Sub David! I’m giving away a Versa on our giveaway on the channel if you want to check it out. I appreciate the support man!
@@DannyJSchaefer unfortunately your giveaway is not for us scandinavian vikings so cant participate, but will sub to your other channel as well for the support :D
One way I saw someone use it is to set it for really loose Fanny pack (fully extended) & then raise it around your chest & “drape” it over the sternum strap. I gotta say… it works.
Hi there. Thanks for the review. I just received mine, in white and am having a hard time adjusting to wear as a fanny pack because there is so much cordage that just hangs down. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Kinda odd to have the clip at the side as well. Any suggestions?
Hi there! Thanks so much for checking out the video. Are you looking to use the fanny pack the normal way, and not use it by slipping the waist strap of your pack through the slots? I haven't had a lot of trouble with the "straps" of the fanny pack being too much, and usually if I do I'll just tuck it into the tight waist strap to hold them in place and to keep them out of the way. I would think that the clip should be centered and directly behind you as well. I hope I understood your question correctly.. please let me know if I can be of any more help! It may be worth contacting Hyperlite as well for more help. Thanks again for watching!!
Hey Jonathan thanks for checking out the video! Dyneema or Dyneema Composite Fabric (DCF) is a very strong fabric used for a lot of the ultralight gear these days. It has a slight crinkle depending on what thickness the material is, but I don’t really notice it. I wouldn’t say it’s loud either. This Fanny pack is awesome! Might take a further Google search on DCF to really get a better idea than what I can explain here. There’s a new fabric that’s surfaced in the last year or so however that is said to be better than DCF (very similar, but stronger) and that’s known as Ultra 200 fabric or EPL Ultra 200. That might be worth a look as well. Again, thanks for watching the video!
@@DannyJSchaefer thanks for the info! I recently started trying to lighten my load on day hikes and discovered the waist pack. I modified a Jansport with some extra webbing and cordage. But the sweat gets through it now that the coating wore off. And the spray silicone doesn't last long either. I'm looking for more water resistant material, that doesn't weigh much, and this bag seemed loud but it could've been the mic. I'm going to take the chance and grab either this one or the Etsy one. Thanks again.
@@jonathansevert8400 right on you bet! The audio in this video isn’t the greatest, so if you go with it I personally wouldn’t feel like you’d regret it. I like the Versa because it can fit either through the waist strap of your pack or you can wear it as an old school Jansport Fanny. I just ordered a new pack through Dandee Packs too and he makes a good one as well that may be worth a check. Enjoy!
I love this fanny pack, but calling absolute BS on whoever decided it's supposedly 2.25L! A one-litre UHT milk carton is basically the same dimensions/proportions and it barely, just barely, fits inside the Versa!
Hey there. I wouldn't necessarily consider myself as being dishonest regarding the durability of Dyneema in this video. My Hyperlite pack and this Fanny Pack were the first UL pieces of equipment I added to my arsenal and this was over 1.5 years ago. Since then, I've learned a tremendous amount and really enjoy the Ultra 200 fabric that's become more prevalent in the last year or so as well. As far as this Fanny Pack goes, it's help up great and I've put many miles on it and have had zero issues.

First time watching your videos really enjoyed your style, looking forward to watching more of them
Hey man thanks so much. This video was an oldie, so I appreciate you taking the time to check it out! Thanks for watching!

I'll be checking this out! Thank you!
I also have taken this for travel! Since it can be in you during takeoff/landing without issue(across one’s chest)!

That's genius!! I'm definitely going to have to try this. I think 'Versa' was a pretty fitting name!
I'm surprised how much space it has. That would come in handy for day hikes 💯
Yeah I really think it would too, and you can surprisingly fit a lot in there. Thanks for watching man!

Can you fit 4 small cans of beer in it?
Three 12 ouncers for sure! Already tried it. One IPA, one brown ale, and a lager. Thanks for checking out the video.
Big lol at 8:15 !
Haha. I'm glad someone enjoyed that! Thanks for checking out the video man!
@@DannyJSchaefer Some hidden acting talents here ! Thanks to you for the vid :-) Cheers
That scene earned the like... Great video overall!
I'm not familiar with this fabric. Is it loud? Crinkly? Thanks for the review. Informative and entertaining.

Interesting! I love it too and use it on every hike, but haven't considered the fact that it may not hold as much as it is advertised to hold.
I wish people would start being honest about the durability of Dyneema it’s extremely overhyped or misused

Nice FANNY! Where did that cute girl go? You hike with her?
Yep! She took a backseat on this one, but she’s with me!
Apple juice definitely essential.
