This. Nowadays, you can't even talk about American Psycho in public without being called a wannabe sigma male or an incel because of all of these sigma TikTok accounts making edits of Patrick Bateman as if he is someone you're supposed to relate to. It's a shame because it is a superb commentary on yuppie culture and american upper class people and an absolutely masterful piece of cinema in general. The worst part about all of this is I am willing to bet that most of these sigma mfs have never watched the movie to begin with.

It’s so funny to see honestly, I’m a woman in film school and the amount of times I’ve had to explain the true meaning of American Psycho is embarrassing and what’s even more embarrassing is that there are “sigma males” in my classes who disagree, I don’t understand how it’s a debate

@@sigmachadtrillioniare6372 this "tommy guy" might like anime, but he only speak straight facts. In fact, I don't see what's wrong with liking anime, anime is entertainment.
The other day I saw a housewife that wanted to be a "high value woman" and was onto this sigma bubble that is trying to get money from incels, so she was smart. And she liked anime too!
The disdain from anime is only that incels happen to like anime since animes have perfect wifes that do anything for the men, but that's it. There are anime of people that want to be their best version as well that have nothing to do with this incel fantasy.
I would suggest if you want to better yourself disregard certain taboos if it means you'll get valuable things out of it. This tommy guy has bought a ton of value in my life speaking of problems we have today in a rational manner, such as this high value man bubble and short attention spans. Whenever I hear "high value" related to a partner I'm just wondering if these people actually enjoy dating....do you even want to date? Sure the person can be rich, educated, low body count and whatever else nonsense that's attached to that label, but they could be boring or your personalities could not be compatible whatsoever!
If you don't even like the person, or don't even like the idea of being loving and vulnerable with another person that's suppose to be your partner what's the point???

the internet basically turned love into a commodity which everyone seeks. like, people try to become these strange archetypes in order to appeal to people. they listen to the same music as those people, play the same games, consume the same media, change their personalities, etc. ALL because they want to be loved in a world where love is not a natural thing anymore, and more of something people attach value to.
remember friends, never look up to people. ever. be your own person, don’t listen to whatever stuff someone else is spewing.

People are focusing so much on labels and creating cults, idolizing fake messiahs. Something I still laugh a lot at is when these guys start saying stuff about any hobby because it's "for children" or "not masculine" pretty much turn their whole personality into a carbon copy of "the ideal male" "the high value male" Not only do they objectify people but also become mindless creatures following the leader who thinks of himself as a god.
So basically a materialistic society completely focused on looks and money is their goal, greeeeeat yahoo I'm jumping out of joy.
We should be aspiring to create altruistic people, people who can see how worthless money is, up until hundreds of years ago all we needed was food, shelter and quality time with each other, no materialistic bs. What truly matters the most are our links with each other and our actions towards the improvement of not only ourselves but also every living being on the planet. Basically it boils down how much these influencers abuse the state of their followers to make easy money.
Some of them truly want to help while others just do it for the money, a red flag is when they sell courses on how to be rich etc… that are literally pointless and just a waste of money since you can get those advices from the internet, and let’s be real if you wanna make money you’ll need to go through the pain and failures and effort to have your own way of making money, since if a lot of people had access to a working money making advice millionaires will be raining from the sky, pretty fair to say it’s a scam.
And you got the good old argument they make when you disagree with them of making you look like an absolute failure and disappointment to society, being trapped in the matrix and the list goes on, you’ll know the influencer is good when he takes the criticism and doesn’t insult people, he actually responds and clears his name if possible and when he doesn’t he’ll just apologize.
But all of that still doesn’t mean they don’t give decent advices, like improving yourself mentally and physically and other aspects you need to improve the quality of life you have as of now, if you are the same person after 2 years from now after watching these influencers it’s just on you for procrastinating, most of it is from you and some because of the red pill sigma male alpha high value chad dudes that you keep watching.
In short:Majority of them are capitalizing over the weakness of people, some others try to help you, and you need to stop procrastinating.
