Around 20 percent of people have a gene in their body that makes them sneeze when looking at a bright light. People who like the taste of cilantro are apparently healthier than people who don't as a result of genetics (this one is still being researched, though). I forget what the statistic is, but there is this genetic disease called Gilbert's syndrome that long story short pigments your skin and your eyes yellow, giving you jaundice (I have this, and it's more common than you think). Then there's other more common stuff like double jointed bones, tounge ties, asparagus pee, etc but I'd be really interested to hear your take on these

One guilty hearing and sight pleasure for me were anime recap videos. A family friend's son stayed in my house over the summer. During his time here he'd usually watch RUclips on me TV. It was your standard loud, braindead content you'd expect from a 10 year old. One of his favorite things to watch though were anime recaps. Videos where you would hear this one guy who seemed in this uncanny valley between boring as hell voice and text to speech recapping some random anime's plot with corresponding footage. I thought it was pretty dumb, especially as a guy who doesn't watch anime that much but for some reason I was deeply captivated, getting distracted at multiple occasions. I even talked to my sister about it and she had the exact same opinion. Since last summer the kid hasn't come back so I haven't seen that content because of that but I'll never forget my inexplicable interest in these anime recap videos.
