I have known about a little place called Tremp for about 6 years now, after Nathan (Sendero Seeker) told me that it was going to be the new Ainsa way back in 2018.
I was obviously very interested in checking it out for myself, but it's taken up until now for that to finally be realised.
This video is from the very first ride, but I've done more since and the other trails are every bit as good, but also in completely different ways.
Genuinely, this is my new favourite location to ride bikes! Great weather, stunning scenery, very eclectic trails and most trails loops start and finish in the town itself.

Breathtaking! Place should be on top of every MTBrs bucket list, so jelly!
I 100% agree 👍
Way to tame that crazy variety of terrain! As good as it looks, I'm sure it's still stuff that would've kicked my butt, haha.
Holy focaccia! That’s some Muy bueno trailage!
Another great video. Absolutely flying down those trails!
Andrew, you are going to enjoy Tremp. Wait to see Slick Rocks, Maf, Tamarro, Bartotrail, Draghon Khan, Serengeti, etc, etc And near Tremp in Pobla de Segur there are some good trails also!
Hit the jackpot there mate. Imagine how fast you'd be if speed was your thing 👏👏👏. Great uplift service ,with food included 😉
Can’t fault the service 👍
Wow! That looks amazing! Great footage as always & the pace you were hitting them for the first time is mental 👍👊👏🏴
Cheers. I tried not using the brakes😜
Some of the best trails ive ever seen!
Glad you think so, I certainly agree 👍
Amazing, don’t think I’ve ever seen local/diy tracks done so well
They’ve done a really good job 👍
This Spanish series is absolutely fantastic!! Keep up the hard work!! 💪
I pleased you are liking my videos from Spain 👍
Now that is amazing, so much flow 👌
Yep 👍
Can see why this is one of your favourites! Great trails and gorgeous scenery. The guy on the bike is quite skilful too.
Straight into the top 3 at least 👌
Amazing trails and awesome riding. That's some speed you're hitting on a new trail.
Thanks. That’s about as fast as I can manage riding blind tbh.
Don't know how you manage to out do yourself, but you've done it again, smashing trails, what an absolute blast that looks like, Thanks for sharing this vid, stellar trails.
Glad you think so dude👍 The trails do a lot of the work though 👌
Looks bonkersly amazing ♥️ wow. So glad you are having an amazing time
Thanks dude, it’s been great so far 👍
@@McTrailRider so glad to hear ♥️👍. Keep enjoying your adventure 👍
Welcome!😄🤙
Thanks! It’s done place😮
Stunning trails and footage Andrew, those of us still stuck in the british winter mudfest are not jealous at all 🤣
I’m definitely not taking this good weather for granted, spent almost every other winter on the west coast of Scotland, so I know bad weather 😜
Wow, great trails with beautiful views! I hope you prerode them before you rode at those speeds, you were really moving. I am surprised you don't wear full finger gloves, saves your hands from branches and the crashes! Thanks for sharing.
I don’t really get the chance to pre-ride trails tbh, I’m almost always hitting trails blind.
You’re not the first to mention gloves, but out here, it’s good to have them just for the bushes and branches.
These trails look fantastic! Would love to head over, the worst part about being from further noth in Scotland is the drive down to the bottom of the country to then start the road trip through France haha
The journey down through England is always the toughest part imo. The weather and/or traffic can be really bad.
I almost feel relieved when I get to France, as it’s quieter and the motorways are far better.
This is all assuming you don’t go anywhere near Paris, which is absolutely chaos at all times in my experience.
Probably my favourite video you’ve done. Trails look crazy good.
Great footage Andrew. It'll be my first visit to this place in May - I can't wait!
Amazing video…. Some of those views reminds me of Lake Tahoe. Keep living your dream and I love the sprinter. I have a 144 model sprinter. I’m hoping to take it to the UK & Europe to ride. 🤙🤙🤙💥💥💥🚴🚴🚴🚐🚐🚐🚐🍺🍺🍺🍺
I’ll need to rewatch some make Tahoe videos now 👍
My van is technically a VW Crafter, it is essentially a Sprinter other than the engine and a couple other details.
Great place with some amazing trails, stunning scenery, should definetely bring the drone adds to the great footage cheers for sharing Amdy well ridden 😁🤙
JUST WOW!!
This looks so sick!
And it is 👍
Loving your work.
Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic, great commitment on new trails
Thanks, I gave it my all.
Those trails look epic. Another awesome video. 🙏
Thanks 👍
Incredible video ❤
Thanks 😁
Awesome riding and trails to die for 👌Those views!!!
It’s an incredible place 👌
flipping heck Andrew that was special - nice riding, mad speed down some mega trails, what a location, very nice! cheers
Glad you enjoyed it
WOW.... the speed you carry is insane!! Trails look awesome
Thanks!
WOW..Andrew...what a place ! Thanks for the ride along , again .
My pleasure!
You’re making me want to head back and ride these trails your style, great riding!
Cheers Mat, it has lived up to your hype 👍
Holy shitoli!!! Absolutely awesome trails! Thx for sharing
More to come!
great trails, amazing lake👍
Yes they are!
Made um look so easy there dude n ano they wasn't . Some belting trails there mate for sure . Cheers bro . Great vid 🍻👏
Thanks. I tried to make them look easy, but that wasn’t easy😜
🚴 Great Stuff buddy 👌 enjoyed the Video 👌 great trails buddy 👌
Glad you enjoyed it
Those trails look superb. I like the look of your utilitarian van build, any chance of a van tour video, many people would be interested in one that doesn't cost as much as a house?
Keep up the good work. 👍
I second that
It’s seems I really need to do that video.
Great video Andrew! I will have to watch the rest of the Spain series. I was hoping to travel there but have ended up moving back to Canada a single guy! I may have to spend a winter here, rent a place for a month or two. Keep up the good work. If you ever get to the west coast of Canada let me know. :) I've got an old van and have been doing some great road trips. Sedona and Squamish are in the books so far. I've just got a drone and DJI Action 4 camera to cover my bike trips. Cheers.
Canada is no bad place to be 👌 Although the Spanish weather might be a little more favourable right now.
Good choice of camera, I really rate mine 👍
Nice trails!
Very nice 👌
awasome trails...and great riding
Thank you👍
@@McTrailRider And let's not forget about the rock solid shuttle service
Fantastic trails and nobody else on them. They would be so busy in the uk.
I think you’re right, they would be much busier in the UK.
Those trails were amazing! Way to rip them!
Thanks dude
Awesome!!! Looks like you found yourself a place that brings you some real joy!!! So happy to see you having fun. Looks like I’d be way too challenging for me but right the thing for you!
Yes! Real joy😊
There are plenty of trails here that aren’t quite as full on though👍
@@McTrailRider aye I love that last one you rode… absolutely epic. Wish I could beam myself (and the bike) there.
These look like world class trails, so I got some questions:
1. who build them?
2. are they used for races that the draw so much investment in time/work/effort
3. why does Spain seem like it is devoid of people? You d think with such world class trails it be quite busy but you never see a soul. Even the towns are empty.
@@Chris_Knopf 1: Territori Lo Podal is the name of the group that built the trails.
2: I can’t say for sure as to the reasoning for investment. I think it’s a passion thing, and to encourage people to visit.
3: Spain is a very sparsely populated country in general. There was mass migration out of the country after the dictatorship of Franco. A huge percentage of the population live in Madrid and a handful of smaller cities.
Awesome video
Thanks!
Amazing. Envious, it’s cold back in the UK 😂
There’s a reason I chose this time of year to go to Spain 😜
Cool trails, I'll be there with Basque in July. Just wondering what tyre setup you're using, seem to maintain grip pretty well all the time. I've sort of defaulted to the DHR/DHF setup with Agressor/ DHF on the shorter travel bike. Would be useful to know your personal choice!
Just seen that Basque are now including Tremp on one of their trips 👌
I’m running Continental Kryptotal’s front and rear. Soft compound, dh casings.
Bloody awesome trails Andrew...like a mix of Moab Slabs and Heartbreak Ridge on drugs...and expertly ridden at speed 👍 Drone footage would definitely be a great video ...please 🤞👌
That’s a good description actually 👍 The drone did get used in future videos, but it’s not been as dependable as days gone by unfortunately.
@McTrailRider Shame that...some of your stuff has been the best on u tube...the skydo was brilliant 👍 I'm sure you'll get something sorted 👌
Incredible trails. Spain is the gift that keeps giving. What was the car? Looked like my first ride the Renault Le Car
fiat Panda 4 X 4 I think. Good to see it being pointed out.
It’s a Fiat Panda 4x4. Not seen one in the UK for over a decade, but seen 5 or 6 out here already.
The Trail to get to the Trails, is a proper good warm up to set the tone for the others. Just brilliant. I think my fav was the Valkiries flowy trail (PS, what front tyre is that you are using there?)
The link trail was singer of my favourite riding tbh, probably helped by being able to hit it more than once.
Tyres are Continental Kryptotal’s front and rear, dh casings on the Claymore.
@@McTrailRider those are great tires, soft compound of course :).
Nice views! I might have missed a video or two, don't know who that girl is ;) will need to go back I guess..
Haha, not often Alix features in my videos these days.
So stunningly Beautiful. And the Trails are so diverse, Fantastic!
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome vid mate ,are there any MTB Companies around there for uplifts and guides.
Not that I know of, but there is fairly easy to get to most of the good trails from the town, and they are all on TrailForks.
@@McTrailRider cheers where would I fly to.
@@user-rt2sr4dh8d Barcelona which is great because it’s so cheap, and then you can get a train right into Tremp, with one change over at Lleida.
Could you put links to your park ups on your videos? Would be well handy for us who are in vans and mohos
Great video.
I would recommend using the app called “park4night” is a great resource for campervans. There is an aire located in the town itself, where you can do all your water’s for free.
@@McTrailRider it's our Bible! We stayed up there on our way through but the weather was horrible so did not get to ride. We are however passing back that way in our way out😃. Spain is just a joy to can life in. We have even found a few Aires with free electric.
my kind of ride looks fantastic. I have a question how is the Mondraker doing as you may or may not know this bike is my number one choice so it would be good to know how the warranty works out! Should I get these Mondrakers or not? Would love to hear your thoughts. All the best, Alastair.
I rate the bike highly tbh, I think it’s a great package overall.
The issue I’m having is an issue with Bosch and not Mondraker. I’m holding off getting anything sorted until I’m back in Scotland. I’ve heard positive things about the Bosch warranty process though👍
@@McTrailRider love to hear how it all works out for you and the bike!
Watch Hell on Earth on here. They passed a full crew of panda 4x4s off reading...
if you come to Madrid I will show you something similar
The riding around Madrid is very good 👍 There is a chance I will have already ridden at your recommended spot.
holy shit!!
Cheers 🤘
@@McTrailRider the algorithm doesn’t seem to be being fair to you. Perhaps put king in the title of more videos. More people should see this stuff!!
@@dansutherland70 😂 I expected my views to half when I came out here anyway. That’s pretty much been the case each time I’ve went to Spain so far.
@@McTrailRider it’s a shame, riding in Spain is awesome (you might want to look at riding with Shaun at Ride Sierra Nevada) and the pov videos you’ve been posting are toe curling and have me reaching for brake levers which my sofa isn’t fitted with. Awesome work. Thanks!
Ooof!
👍
