@@5minn Illaoi is my only champ at mastery 7, and believe me, the simple fact that she doesn't have the speed up and the extra tenacity makes her way more difficult to manage. You can never ignore people. You can smash them hard, but she requires actual skill to play.

The moment he asked, "why red start?" made me instantly a fan of him. I am shit at video games, but that is how I train people in real life. A lot of people surprisingly know the answer, they just aren't confident about it. :)

Climbing out of low elo is about confidence and in-depth knowledge about your champion. If you have more knowledge about the capabilities and limitations of your champion than your opponent, you have a good chance to win. Fundamentals isn't what wins you games, it's in-depth matchup knowledge.
exactly this the only times iv climbed is because i do aphelios/teemo and know when i can boomtube people into space and when im gonna get swatted like a bug.

Honestly I get what you were saying about wave management. When I became a kass main (I know scary racist) i *had* to learn how to win lane without winning lane, that involved learning as much as I could about wave management. I was pretty good at the game before then, just practicing wave management made my skills go way up, it’s crazy how much better such a seemingly unimportant thing can make you.
Where did you learn how to wave manage and what is it?

My love for league died after they updated the mastery emotes (and vanguard) but that doesn't mean I wont stop watching Rav's hilarious vids and commentaries. Keep it up Rav 👍 !

Like, seriously, patches completely change the game, and it's insane one good patch got me two whole ranks into high hold when I've been hardstuck mid bronze my whole life.

you don't need a coach. you just have to not int your lane and hope your jungler and bot lane has hands.
I'm hardstuck gold for 6 years, but I know why that is. I don't spend enough time getting reps and digging into the game to learn better habits.
Rav doesn't seem to understand that his brain needs to learn new things about the game and develop new habits and also focus. He needs to pick a role, pick no more than 3 champs to master, and then develop good film study habits. There are ways to learn League and get good. Rav's not inherently bad or stupid, he's just not doing the things that would actually help him climb. He's always looking out for a cheese strat instead of learning the game.
