In Hell's Kitchen, two teams compete for the prestigious job of head chef at a top restaurant, all under the guidance of world-class fiery chef Gordon Ramsay.
my man gave the point to the blue team just because he wanted to eat more tasty burgers
Ha! I see what you did there.
Or the production team said "We'll need to find more filler from somewhere else, just choose the blue team we can't be bothered"
BRUH I NOTICED THAT TOO 😂😂😂
I would've done the same 😂

Unless you wear a Canadian flag pin, normally in my limited experience the anger is mainly directed at Americans.
Are you serious? Ppl are mocking amber for speaking French but kori spoke Spanish to Aaron Sanchez and no one bats an eye 🙄
Welcome to casual french bashing. Americans hate us and it's displayed on live TV.
Well Amber was not speaking "French" as a native French speaker, she was speaking with an American accent which made her sound funny because it is obvious that she does not sound like she is from France. In any case, who cares if she was mocked for speaking a language that is globally known to be funny-sounding. .
Well the chef understood her and I'm sure he appreciates it, even if you're fluent in a language your accent from where you were born will ALWAYS come out
Only smug losers get upset over someone’s accent and pronunciation. She’s not a linguist, she’s a chef.
Amber isn’t good on French, and kori is good in Spanish. That’s it
Too bad Marc didn’t have a fire extinguisher for Gordon. He would’ve had that point if he had one. Now she only won because he lost.
😂😂

I love how there can never be a hk burger video without everyone memeing on Frank.
He should've added some liquid smoke
@@alexander5468 But remember, just touch
Oh wow who would have guesses after 19 seasons that this all comes down to the final dish?
Like seriously, I think I can count on one hand the number of times this was NOT the case.
The only time I can think of is Season 9 when the blue team won 3-0
I can't tell if they are putting the burgers out of order to make it look even, or what. There is obvious manipulation going on with the editing or way the show works that it's almost always down to the last dish. That would be a shame if they're giving results to keep everyone engaged for the last decision... but I guess thats showbiz
@@emu_warrior My guess is that the order how the food goes up to the presenter is decided to give the close ending. They're obviously filming in the kitchen, and lots of the dishes are BAD (like jackie's infamous apple slaw burger- she didn't even make the burger until the last minute! Pretty easy to guess the team that didn't have a dish would score poorly). but whatever's happening it's clear the ties aren't organic

It’s actually nice to see in a challenge all the food presented actually up to a good standard. I hate when I see so many dishes in other challenges when loads of dishes have such bad problems. This one was a good watch because of how close it was
Simple is often the best.
On the last video I made a comment about Raj winning if they made salmon burgers. I've never seen the season so I had no idea they indeed made salmon burgers and that it would literally be the next video. However, my point stands. If Raj was there he would win because he's cooked thousands and thousands of pieces of salmon.
How about you leave Raj Alone!!!

@@Reign274 Yeah, Jalapenos are basically the lowest level of spicyness. That said, you should know your audience - Gordon does *not* do spicy. If it's more than a bit of a 'zing' through the dish he's generally not a fan.
@@MyriadFragmentsI’m with you, I’m a spice fan, but it is subjective. If all you can taste on a burger is spice, you might not enjoy it? I probably would, but not if it overwhelms what the burger actually tastes of?
2:47-2:57 Hence why Mary-Lou is often regarded as one of the two main confessionals chefs/narrators of the season (along with Declan), and one of the biggest narrators of the entire franchise. That woman knows how to play it up for the cameras when she needs to!

I only every really watch the highlights of Hell's Kitchen - but I really enjoy how much more mature the show seems to be this season. The constant over the top egos of previous seasons gets really annoying, this is a breath of fresh air.
Of course, the battle of the salmon and turkey burger
This was one of the better seasons... Really talented chefs.
Yeah, Mary Lou and Cody were both tours de force themselves. I don't know if Kori deserved to win, but even if she did these 2 were also champion calibre and could likely lead Hell's Kitchen just as well.
You know the fact that the entire red team is formidable opponents means the blue needs to be on their A game but Marc tries to hard to be different and it costs them this challenge
I'm shocked that it got tied at 2-2 and came down to a final burger! Who would have thought??

As someone who loves spicy food, I always love when a spicy dish is presented on these shows and even a jalapeño is "too hot."
Seriously. Dude was going on about "who could have known a whole pepper would be spicy? anyone here!" Take your soft, velvet lined tongue elsewhere, knave
Spicy food can be good, I personally enjoy it, but I only eat it from time to time.
People who eat spicy food too often, dont build up a resistance to spiciness, they desensitize their taste buds to it.
A Michelin star chef will always prefer less heat because he needs to be able to taste certain subtle notes of flavor in more complex dishes.
alot of higher-end chefs don't like alot of heat because it can desensitize certain parts of the tastebuds. I love spicy foods but alot of spicy foods can overwhelm more subtle flavors if you get too carried away.

Yup, that's television for you.

Although the blue team lost I’m glad Amber won a point for her team. Her burger was amazing! The boys need to show her some respect.

To anyone criticizing them saying the jalapeño burger was too spicy, just remember that it's supposed to be a salmon burger, if all you can taste is the jalapeño then it's a fail.
it would be amazing to see an "Allergy Friendly" challenge with different banned foods, like one time dairy is banned but another time raw tomatoes are banned, I don't mean to have judges that are allergic to those things cause the anxiety would be crazy for them but still
This would be fascinating to do. The raw tomatoes one especially intrigues me, one of my coworkers can't eat raw tomato.
Man, there are so many difference allergies and intolerances out there that I'm always learning about and I didn't even know about raw tomatoes until just now. I don't eat raw tomatoes either but that's just because I hate my veggies raw, they have to be cooked haha

well, in defense of the blue team, jalapenos are among the most mild of the hotter chillies out there. Though i will say that combining jalapeno and salmon is a rather counterintuitive combination
They should have tried honey-glazing the salmon and frying the jalapeno before putting them on. It would have bound the thing together nicely and countered any heat that some people may find excessive. And would have just been a nice complimentary taste.

"A whole jalapeño too hot? Who would've figured???"
I ate 3 whole jalapeños yesterday with my lunch of leftover beef steak and veggies. British chefs are notoriously timid on peppers. If a traditional Asian or Latin American dish calls for peppers, a UK chef will add a single pepper, minus the seeds, to the dish, and call it authentic seasoning. An Asian or Latin American will add at least half a dozen peppers, seeds included, into the same dish. White people seem to fear the spice (Am white myself, so I'm "allowed" to confirm).
Yet at the same time, most European/North Americans were raised on salt + pepper. We lacked the spices of the rest of the world.
Humans develop their palates according to readily available trade spices.
As a result, American BBQ largely depends on the staples of salt + pepper. Yet, we also wholeheartedly embraced Cajun, Mexican/Central/South American spices (most US BBQ outside of beef is based in Latino flavors (ribs, chicken wings/thighs, etc. -- the focus is south of the border flavor).
One of my favorite shows
1. It's rude to insult someone for speaking another language.
2. It's also rude to talk to someone in a different language when present in a group.

The secret behind a lot of these food competition shows is that the chefs are actually told to prepare double the servings. The judges eat some of everybody's immediately after it's done and take down some quick notes; by the time they film the judges eating, the food is already cold, and they already know what they're going to say.
