Very clear lesson, good job, but if you're wondering why it doesn't sound exactly like the recording it might be helpful to know that he's in DROP C TUNING. I repeat. DROP C TUNING

D - C
G - F
B - A
E - D

He's actually in B tuning. He says so himself in the video lesson/backing track video he posted in 2013. He also said he now plays it in standard tuning live though because it became too much of a hassle to have to tune a guitar down to B for just one song.
