  • No act of love however small, is ever wasted
Simple and delicious, with a lot of combinations. So much cheaper than the grocery prices! This has wonderful flavors that aren't too sweet but just sweet enough to make your coffee so enjoyable. The recipe and combinations are below. Just scroll down in the Show More section. Enjoy!!!
    Directions & Tips:
In all these recipes, anything that has a dry or thick ingredient (like cinnamon, honey, etc..) should be heated up with a small amount of your milk/cream from the base recipe so it can dissolve properly. Then, add the rest of the milk/cream along with the sweetened condensed milk.
    Homemade Coffee Creamer
For each flavor of creamer, you start off with the same basic ‘base’ recipe.
    14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 3/4 cup milk or cream or half and half
Mix the ingredients together well. Add them to a mason jar and shake to thoroughly mix the contents.
    POSSIBLE FLAVOR COMBINATIONS
    French Vanilla Creamer
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    Vanilla Bean Coffee Creamer
    2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste
    Chocolate
    2-3 tablespoons chocolate syrup

    1 tablespoon cocoa powder
    1 teaspoon almond extract

    1 teaspoon instant coffee
    1-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1 teaspoon almond extract
    Coconut
    2 teaspoons coconut extract
    Chocolate / Caramel / Coconut
    2 teaspoons coconut extract
    2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping
    Peppermint Patty
    2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
    1 teaspoon peppermint extract
    Cinnamon Vanilla
    2 teaspoons cinnamon

    1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    4 tablespoons maple syrup
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    Honey Vanilla
    1/4 cup honey
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    Almond Joy
    1-2 teaspoons coconut extract
    1 teaspoon almond extract
    2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
    Sweet Cream
Use 1 3/4 cups of heavy cream instead of the milk in the base recipe
2 teaspoons vanilla extract OR the inside of a vanilla bean, scraped
    1 teaspoon almond extract
    Chocolate Orange
    2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
    1-2 teaspoons orange extract
    Hazelnut
    2 teaspoons hazelnut extract
    Chocolate Hazelnut
    2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
    2 teaspoons hazelnut extract
    Cinnamon Cake
    2 teaspoons cinnamon
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    Salted Caramel
2-3 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    Eggnog
replace milk in base recipe with equal amount of heavy cream
    1 teaspoons vanilla extract
    2 teaspoons rum extract
    1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    Toasted Almond
    2 teaspoons almond extract
If you want really creamy creamer, use heavy cream instead of milk in your base recipe.

Oh im gona have to try this!!! Thank you.
Yummiest ice cream i ever had was made from whipped cream and vanilla. Once whipped, add sweetened condensed milk. Put in containers and freeze. You can add oreos, snickers, toffee, caramel or chocolate. You can add strawberries or raspberries. Anything once fully whipped and sweetened condensed milk mixed in. You gota try it!!! 1qt of heavy whipping cream to one can sweetened condensed milk for measurements.

Hello, Linda, from Florida. You are a genius and an excellent cook. I absolutely love your videos! I didn't get to watch some of my videos that were in my notifications, yesterday. I had been watching a livestreams, & I got flipped off & brought back to my home page. I then noticed that all of my notifications we're gone. Please don't unsubscribe me, b/c I am going to try to get caught up with watching your videos. I never feel that it's a wasted time ever. I am an old woman, & I am not tech savvy. Thanks for all of your tutorials. I can't wait to show my grown up children this recipe. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely appreciate.

Thank you! I'm definitely going to try this. Unlike (I guess) a lot of your followers, I just want "plain creamer" but my grocery store only carries flavored kinds (dozens, it seems). One thing you might want to do next time would be to put the milk (or 1/2+1/2) into the jar FIRST and add the condensed milk (which tends to stick to the sides more) afterwards.

Thank you so much for this video. I must say it comes right on time with me thinking how to improve my own coffee. Your recipe seems to be focussed on convenience and cost and that is entirely fair. But it dawns on me that you could modify this to make it work for people with allergies or other dietary concerns and it would still be pretty cost effective and easy to make. As for me I'm trying to eat cleaner (my definition of this is real food ingredients instead of artificial flavors and sweeteners, cutting out synthetic chemicals and processed foods). I'm also trying to cut back on dairy but I love a rich creamy coffee. So my thought was cooking down (reduced to half) some almond milk and raw (turbinado) sugar as a substitute for canned sweetened ccondensed milk. Would it cook down do you think? Then for the second ingredient....more almond milk, maybe with a little coconut oil for body, and steep it with flavor agent of choice while your other milk is condensing...add some chopped pecans or a vanilla bean, cinnamon sticks, some cacao nibs, etc then drain it off and add it to the sweetened condensed milk. I know these are more effort but I think for the trouble your results would be hard to beat for both quality and taste and still a very reasonable price.
Anyway I didn't want to hijack your video or make it all uppity but if you go back a couple steps you can make something that would work for almost anyone. Thanks again I will let you know when I try this.

Hands That Cook Oh my, Linda. I like cinnamon flavored tea. In fact, it's an obession. I have a cup of it every day. With honey. I can't even imagine it being improved with any other flavors. Having said that, I have to confess I was in a moment of creative thinking when I made my comment. I don't actually eat much ice cream. But I thought to myself, "If I were to to enjoy all those flavor combinations what would be the thing that would entice me?" Not coffee for sure. Ice Cream! That might work. OMG. Thank you Linda for this. I am definitely going to share with all my coffee family and friends. Thank you listing the ingredients to each one. QUESTION: How long do you think this will last in the refrigerator? I'm thinking maybe a couple of weeks. Since it's just me I will try making half of this recipe. This is something totally different and I will enjoy trying different ones. My favorite is French Vanilla. Thanks again and may God continue to Bless you and Sam.

I'd be tempted to try 'Flavoured' Coffee except for the fact that they're seemingly always Sweet! I gave up Sugar for Lent when I was 14, my Mum & I spent the entire 6 weeks miserable that our cup of Tea tested wrong just waiting for Easter Sunday and a 'Proper' cup of Tea. Come to find it tasted too sweet by miles and neither of us took Sugar in drinks since. I had to stop drinking Tea though, never could get used to the taste. As a Black Coffee girl, the only time I take Cream is in an Irish Coffee (where if you aerate it, it will still float despite the no Sugar ) or a French accompanied by a slug of Whiskey or Brandy. That's as exotic as I manage lol. Do you have to use it quickly because of the Cream?

Yum on the coffee creamer. Your ring on your left hand is beautiful. Gift from Sam?

    • @Handsthatcook
      @Handsthatcook  5 лет назад +1

The ring was my mothers. She left it to me. I had several different people come in to clean my house when I wasn't feeling well and about 6 weeks ago noticed some of my jewelry missing so I started wearing this ring in fear this would be stolen. I've never been a jewelry wearer so I've had to force myself to keep it on. Sam and I do not exchange gifts of any kind (that I can remember). I treasure this ring and the loving memory of my mom.
