With this routine, she can get a low-15, or a mid-15 if the judges are feeling generous. A 15 on beam is absolutely *incredible*! I hope she hits in Paris. This beam final is going to be really interesting!
BHS + Arabian + split jump seems like a fantasy combination people come up with when they're making their "9.3 D routine!" Videos and it still kind of does
And if she breaks the new combos and doesn't perform the split and stag ring at the start, she can attempt again after the cartwheel, for a 0.1 CV and 0.1 SB (her original setup from Stuttgart and Nationals). By changing these 2 elements to the start of the routine, she increased her chances of keeping the D level.
@@nmixx.changeupletsgo I hope QQY hits and wins gold on beam, cuz it's truly the best in the world. Well - Zhou Yaqin is arguably better, but I like this routine cuz the BHS + Arabian is just so damn cool. 2 hit Chinese beam routines almost feels like too much to ask for, but that would be neat.
The US isn't looking so strong compared to the Chinese team on beam or bars, sure, but overall, Team USA is the overwhelming favorite to win gold in Team, All Around, Vault and Floor (and team USA will likely get silver or bronze on All Around, Vault, Floor, as well). Beam and Bars is where China excels and also where Team USA is comparatively weaker. IF China hits on either Bars or Beam in event finals (and that is sometimes a big IF), they could easily earn gold and silver on both. However, just like at last worlds, anything can happen. On beam, China overly relies on connected skills to increase D score and if those don't connect properly, a gymnast like Simone or Suni (or a couple others from other nations) could grab gold from China on beam. Bars gold will be a tight race among several gymnasts.
Simone has 6.5 D but they said for the Olympic trials she will upgrade her dismount and her D score will be 6.8 and also they said probably the full back will be back so it make her D score to 7.1 Guys but the guaranteed one is 6.8
Wondering why the US can't do it with China's difficulty and connection, with so much great uneven bars and balance beam talent in China, and great coaches from all over the world in the US, I wonder if we're not having a problem somewhere
It's one thing to hit this in an empty gym on a good day but the Olympics are a whirlwind of not stop sensory overload. The US girls are more accustomed to that sort of activity so have an edge.
That's a very good point. But with that said, QQY finished 4th AA in Antwerp and is the current World UB champion. Plus she's scored over 15 internationally on both BB and UB, so she's very much a seasoned competitor. I'm confident she will perform very well in a high pressure environment.
@@guardianofthegalaxy2051They’re not quite as consistent as they used to be. I mean they went over a decade without a fall in a major international competition.
I love love watching Simone Biles do her best and amazing skills but it’s exciting to have people that are on her level compete with her! And actually Zhou Yaqin and Qiu Qiyuan have higher Difficulty Values too! So excited for the beam in Paris!!!!!
No one is on Simone’s level. Simone has lost to many people in event finals because those same gymnasts were specialist which means they were good at only 1 maybe two events and they would beat her but that’s not surprising because they spent so much time perfecting that one event. Simone is the best overall gymnast that’s why she wins all around all the time and haven’t lost, because she consistently scores 14 or higher, even on her weakest events. While those event specialist gymnasts, can hardly even score 13.5 or higher on their weakest event. But Simone also happens to not only be the best overall gymnast but the best floor and vaulter well.
@@jacobmiller2663 hi!! I’m a huge Simone fan and of course I’m rooting for her at this year’s Olympics. I was actually referring to beam event finals, it’s gonna be so exciting!! Let’s celebrate all other great gymnasts too! ❤️❤️
Not only was it difficult, but it was so pleasing to watch.

this is insane. a routine this difficult is impressive even with a few wobbles, but her execution is also incredible. wow!!!
I know little about scoring gymnastics, but I absolutely love there’s no screaming going on from the sidelines. $.02
A routine like this at the Olympics is a guaranteed gold medal, the us isn’t looking so strong compared to this
I can totally see China going 1-2 on beam tbh.

Girl is coming for AA bronze
She coming for the typical fall under pressure China has produced for a almost a decade now
probbaly next olympics gold medalist, silver I hope Voinea and bronz Biles
Exactly
Imagine if she wins both beam and bars.
How does she make it look this easy
fear of government burning down her entire village if she fails to win gold?

The US girls compete in massive sell out crowd at nationals, championships, and olympic trials and still fell at the Olympic games

gold worthy
Simone competed 7.1 difficulty on floor at day 2 of nationals.
team usa all the way…but this literally has no connection to BB or Simone at all, let that girl breath
@@dtimmymoua This was just in response to the caption of the video, which says "This is the highest difficulty score on all events this quad".
Johnson David Anderson Richard Jones William
If she hits her full difficulty and doesn’t fall, I think she will beat Shilese in AA. It’ll be very close
Unlikely with Silese’s advantage on FX, VT, and added difficulty on UB.
I just don’t see her making this routine at the Olympics
Way better than even Simone. Her routine has so many different aspects to it and is not at all boring, like most beam routines!!
To each their own 😎
And she fell yesterday at the Olympics as is out of the beam finals
